how can a military vet be so stupid about war? it is a fact of life we aren't always going to be at peace and you and all the other people who are against this war and saying it's bush's war can shove it. you are as bad as the terrorists talking negativly like that about our goverment. you should be ashamed. if all of the men and women who are fighting and dying for our country over there heard what you say everyday about this war they would be deeply hurt and honestly i am as well as a patriotic person. no matter who is president we should back them up like them or not they are the leader of our country by turning your back on him you are doing the same to our country. no wonder why other countries hate the us because our own citizens can't be content with that great thing we have in our country called FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!! that didn't just come for free alot of men and women have died for that.

Can't fairly say America is wasting the battle. Iraq used to be defeated decades in the past. I have no idea if I could name it a battle due to the fact that nobody is aware of precisely who the Americans are combating. It is effectively survival. Yes, America's lengthy perceived repute for justice, honesty, and freedom are being referred to as into query. But this used to be began lengthy in the past. Lawyers have performed away with justice. Our courts don't care approximately justice. Justice is now a question of attorneys padding their possess financial institution account and striking win/lose notches on their belt. Politicians do not care approximately freedom. They simplest desire extra votes and extra perks. The information media cares approximately not anything however air time and promoting replica. All the matters this nation have been established on had been offered or prostituted in order that anyone else may also be bigger than one other. Its fault is the American humans for no longer status up and announcing "I have had sufficient". The American humans will need to give up their griping and do anything approximately it. Voting might be a satisfactory begin. Let your voice be heard. Vote each and every baby-kisser out of workplace and shall we see what occurs.

If we pull out, and the islamic terrorists attack us on American soil, (like they have said they want to do, and have done, and have said they want to do in the UK, and have done so), will you change your tune and be howling for revenge? And will you remember that you lost your stomach for this fight this time around?
The war against terrorism will go on for a long time - 10, 20 years at least. It won't end until the countries that sponsor it get brought forward out of third world status. Their lives have to be better for them in a peaceful environment, than it is in a wartime one. That means education, commerce, and a strong economy (or at least a stronger one than they have now).
That may happen under their current system of government if we leave them alone. The only problem is that it's never happened before in a totalitarian regime. Despots tend to improve their lives, and line their friends pockets, at the expense of the populace.
The current war may not be the best way to accomplish this goal. But if you've got a better suggestion, everyone is listening.

In case you didn't get it earlier...
... Al Zawahari in his latest video acknowledged his intent to set up a Caliphate in the Middle East
... admitted that they need to replace the terrorists they've lost there.
... confirmed they are present in Iraq.
And also allow me my quote of the day to one of your other great lies:
" "If someone in Congress tried to tell me to abandon our troops or raise taxes, I’d probably tell them to go to hell." But this would spur the encouragers on even more.
....
As a former Green Beret (Special Forces) officer and Vietnam veteran with two sons who are currently Green Beret sergeants, as well as a daughter and son-in-law who have been Christian missionaries in Africa and India...."
Don Bendell, in explaining why he chose not to run for congress: http://www.chieftain.com/editorial/1183892401/2

Morons?!?!? What a bunch of hypocrites!!! Terrorism is still all over Iraq. We are trying to stop a religious war going on over there. You arrogant pinkos think you know stuff that you actually don't!!!! You would never know what is going on over there unless YOU were actually there. You do realize that being in the military does involve not caring about dying and sacrificing your life for your fellow soldiers. Why do you think that people join the military? They join to fight and to "destroy the enemies of the United States" which are the terrorists. Did you ever think of that? I haven't been to Iraq but my little cousin is there right now and they are using chemicals that can be closely related to WMDs. My cousin and his squad found about 50 chlorine tanks buried underground for use on our soldiers and other Iraqis and he would probably be dead right now if he didn't have a gas mask which are hard to come by b/c the demoncrats are cutting war funds. Street signs cover the sides of highways promoting terrorism, and TV stations run terrorsim propoghanda 24/7. You arrogant pinkos better know a whole dam lot about the war before you start making up a bunch of bs about it all. Even though I haven't been to Iraq, I still get informed daily about it b/c once a Marine, always a Marine. You think you are doing the right thing, but 90% of military personnel would get p.o.'d at you for what you're saying.

its not like everyone could just walk out and protest the end of a complicated war..
records were set when people protested the possibility of a US led invasion against iraq.. government went ahead with their plans anyways
several dozen protests and the changes in the house of representatives and senate did not bring our troops (who along with us were lied to) home
ending the war now would just be foolish, we need to re-establish our credibility amongst other nations, muslim or non-muslim, and form strong bonds with other would be allies who could help us against potential threats. we cannot win our fight with "terror" by ourselves
we could bomb every single nation that we are told where "terrorists" exist, but the idea that these people spread would be harder to control and our actions does not exactly do us any favors either, or does anyone really think the children who got a candy bar from our soldiers would grow up to love us?

Saddam, first of all, was a "Muslim religious fanatic"; he didn't oppose it, he encouraged it by killing entire villages of people.
My question to you would be: how many Americans die each and every day on our highways, die due to medical neglect or mistake? About 50,000 die every year on the highways; MILLIONS die due to medical mistakes/neglect.
At the height of the Vietnam War, a soldier was safer in the jungles than on the highway.
Let's not forget how many Americans are killed on the streets and in their own homes by murderers, rapists, robbers. I have never been in Harlem or Watts, by I understand that is the way of life there.
First, clean up your own backyard before you get "righteous" about someone else's.

So... to prove your point that US presence in Iraq has nothing to do with terrorism... you reference a recent terrorist attack in Iraq?
Has the collective liberal intellect really fallen this far?

So i guess you would have them come home before the job they have so bravely fought,is completed. What about their deaths do you think that they are dying for nothing. Why not ask a soldier what he thinks instead of asking a bunch of adolescent kids.Spend Little more time learning instead of listening to the media.
