up. What are people's obsession with their grass? It is all dried out and not treated. When I use to own the lot I had to pick out his golf balls before I mowed, but never said a word. What are people's obsessions with grass about?

Talk to him and get permission for you or your kids to retrieve their balls. If he is negative about it, mention that YOU used to return his golf balls. Pops

Buy your kids a taller fence. Part of learning to live with neighbors is putting up with and learning to live with those who cannot work with others. Teach your kids to respect this neighbor's property before you go telling everyone about the neighbor's balls.

Perhaps it is not the grass he is worried about. It is is property, and if he does not want any trespassing, you will have to respect that. If you want your kids to play ball, just make sure they keep it in your yard or take it to a park.

a friend of mine went through the same thing with his neighbor.. just buy your kids a whole lot of extra balls so when they hit one into his yard, they can just go grab another one.. if the guy gets sick of picking up balls you can offer to have your kids start picking them up again..

I really doubt your neighbor spent all of that money on boats and a lot just to irritate you. Why did you sell him the lot? What I am getting at is move on...it is his property now.

It's HIS property, and he has every right to tell everyone to stay off. No one cares what you do with yours.
It's not your business. Keep your kid off his lot and live with it.
