You're putting it on your hair, not massaging it into your scalp. So, no. The chemicals never got into your skin, and even if they did I'm pretty sure it wouldn't make you go bald.
Besides, if hair gel did make you go bald, I'm sure we would all know by now. Newspapers, magazines, tv news............ and there would be a recall on all hair gel products and you would be offered a refund for yours and medical care.

No, hair gel does not cause you to go bald. Heredity causes you to go baled. Look at all the males in your family and count how many are bald. If you have more bald men in your family than not bald, chances are you will be bald one day.

Hair loss is caused because you have the genes that make you go bald or because of trauma, like chemotherapy, or a stress-induced syndrome.
Putting hair gel on your hair when you are going bald makes you look goofy, tho.

me personally uses a lot of gel. and well if u use a lot, and us eit everyday, when ur older u wont get bald, u will just loose hair. and so dont out a lot. (dont be like me). but i stopped using it and take 2 showers a day to ash it out. so it wont make u bald, just loose hair
