It would depend upon the terms of your parole, if you are
prohibited from text messaging, the courts could allow
your PO to tap in, same goes for the cell phone.
If would be unwise to do anything that is prohibited in
your terms of parole, unless you miss your buddies in jail.

Parole means that you still serving your sentence, all your constitutional rights are waived. If you vilolate Parole you go back and finish your time inside, no judge no jury, just a board to decide, in most states you dont even get a lawyer.

That would depend on not only what they are on parole for but the terms of parole. This can easily be remedied by not being a criminal.

Your private communications cannot be monitored by your PO.
I would like to say that they cannot be monitored by anyone, but in this age of the so-called Patriot Act, we can't be sure.
Unless you are on federal parole for a terrorism related charge, I wouldn't worry too much.
If you find that your PO is, somehow, monitoring your communications, sue.

Realize that if you get parole, you are being cut a big break.
The P/o is Lord, master, Jesus Christ and your mother all rolled into one.
