Because it's easier for their small minds. I know what you mean, I ask similar questions and people answer faith. This is just a way for them to answer and try to prove us wrong.

1. Says you -or- You mean like evolution. You pick.
2. When you have a strong belief it may require you to exclude all that is contrary to it.
3. I don't. I also do not attack atheists for what I believe to be their position of ignorance by insulting their belief in it. I just ignore those unless they ask just as you have.
4. If you use the example of "blue laws" that is a weak example. Use the example of abortion or fetal stem cell research and you'll have a better topic.
5. You do realize you are applying restrictions to the Creator. The law was made for man. Again use a better example.
6. We offer opportunity not force. That is choice. You cannot have choice if you aren't faced with the opportunity.
7. Eternal suffering is for the adamantly unrepentant.
8. Why do you worry about fanatics and extremists? They are beyond all logic. By the way, I only disapprove of Pokemon but that is because I think it is dumb, not because I think there is any demonic influence. I think the others are great.

1. It is what you call Faith
2. The Bible tells it so. There is only one God, one true God. Of course God can be jealous if you worship other.
3. God will punish you. Hahaha.. This is really funny.
4. We don't do this. I shop on Sunday.
5. You put things out of context.
6. Yes, people have a choice. That's why we tell others about our-taste-good-and-really-real-good choice about going to heaven.
Don't you tell others about a good movie you had watched and (in various degrees) try to make others watch it too?
7. You contradict Loving God and a Just God with your assumption. God is Love but He also is Just.
He will condemn all people who has sin but He already make a way to avoid condemnation by believing in Jesus. People have a choice like you said in number 6.
8. Pi... Ka....CHUUUU..... I love Pokemon.
What you said maybe some extremists who already paranoid with everythings.

1. that's why faith is existent
2.religion doesn't matter. what matters is that you believe in Jesus
3. please tell me who says such things so i can go and smack them
4. ok, what christians got annoyed because of THAT!? and most of the time laws need to be changed, not because of religion, but because of degrading morals
5. those commandments were given to US. AND murder is the act of killing without a reason. God had a REASON. look it up and you will see
6. there is only one path to God and that is Jesus. yes people have a choice but who says they have the ability to make the right one or the one that will benefit them the most?
7. He gave us the GIFT OF SALVATION SO WE COULD GO TO HEAVEN, you can't ask for more than that, it's FREE. if you aren't smart enough to take his GIFT than you go to hell, God is loving not dumb if someone doesn't want Him, than why should He want that someone?
8. that is extreme, yet this world ALL belongs to the devil, so in a way everything is made to separate God from our lives, thus many things can be considered evil

2. I respect all people no matter what our differences may be.
3.I have never done that.God is our only judge and is the only one who can judge a persons heart and soul. Not me
4.I dont do that
5. I didnt make the Commandments God, did and I follow them as best as I can.
6.I just spread the Good News , its not up to me to try and convert anyone, only the Holy Spirit can do that.
7.We all choose our own path with our God given free will. Our choices are the path to God or the path away from God. God forces no one to follow Him, He leaves that choice all up to each of us.
8.I dont know who pokeman is and I have never read Harry Potter. But I dont consider them evil

1. Don't say 'faith', he gave the definition for faith, he's asking /why/. (Oh, and all theories have lots of proof, that's what makes them THEORIES and not HYPOTHESES.)
2. This isn't true for all Christians but for those to whom it applies, what makes you so sure that they are wrong and you are absolutely right? Why can they not also be right? (Believing in Jesus as a savior directly relates to your religion.)
3. No, he didn't ask for a /demonstration/ he asked for an /explanation/. (For those to whom this applies, of course.)
4. This one is pretty self-explanatory, I think. Why is it that the laws ought to be as you want them? What about everybody else?
5. This one was out of line. Just tell him, "The Bible is a very old book, written by men, and so has myths and some flaws."
6. For those who do, why do you feel the need to convert everyone?
7. Go ahead and explain about the fall of man and sin. Yeah, I'll let you do it. ^-^
8. For those who are extremists and believe this, I would REALLY like to understand this one!

1) There is more proof of God's existence than your existence, my existence, or that the Earth and all the universe just happened in an explosion of nothing, that created something, and evolved over billions of years to create us. You just have to look to find the proof. "Ask and you shall recieve, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened to you."
2) Their is a difference between religion and relationship. God and His word is the only Truth in this day and age, and is the only Truth there has ever been. Yes, many pagan religions were around before Christ, but none were around before God. You have to read the whole story, not just pieces to throw at others as a weapon for your unbelief. You've got to look to find what you're looking for.
3) Okay, now you're stereotyping. I can't honestly say I've ever heard that said before. On the other hand, I can name a few times when atheists (that don't believe in God, keep in mind) that tell people that they are going to Hell.
4) Christians founded this nation, and came here because they wanted to be able to worship God freely. One liberal (not to say conservatives aren't as bad, politically speaking) judge who wants to implement opinion into a judicial system can set off a chain reaction of debate amongst people, as we see every day. However, this was created as "one nation, under God", and the few people who believe that anymore want to keep us a nation under God, not under man.
5) The Bible admits that "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." It doesn't say "unbelievers have sinned", or "non-christians have sinned", but "All". Man, since Adam and Eve sinned, have always been sinners. The only difference is that Christians have been forgiven, because they choose to be. You have to look to find what you're looking for.
6) Yes, people have a choice. Jesus told us to go preach to all nations (The Great Commission), because he loves his children, even the ones who don't believe in Him any more. He wants them to return to Him, and we are his messengers until He returns.
7) He created us as perfect, where there would be no such thing as "judgement", but being human beings, we sinned. God didn't want it to happen, but He is perfect, and thus cannot spend eternity with an imperfect creature (one that has sinned). That is why he not only gave us choice, but He also gave us a way out of the mistake that WE made (not Him, us). You have to look to find what you're looking for.
8) I don't know how many of these questions are based off of experience and how many are based off of what others tell you about Christians, but personally, I play Pokemon games, am a fan of Star Wars, and watch Harry Potter movies. It's when you start accepting them as truth that they become sinful. By the way, we know they aren't real, but neither is evolution (and yes, there is evidence before you get on my case) and it still causes millions of Christians to stumble.
I hope you read this, but if not, someone will. I hope I answered all your questions. Just remember, you have to look to find what you're looking for.

Very logical questions and I would love to see some answers to these questions.
The Christian religion (all of them) have good marketing ability as it should be after almost 1,900 years. Unfortunately many of them push to hard and end up losing folks forever. There are many examples of this just within the last 10 years.
Looking forward to the answers.
