I pray to be healed of course.. I think everyone does.
Sickess is not from God, but came to earth as a result of sin.
It is God's will that all be healed, and all be saved..this is evidenced in the bible many times.

Yes to both. Still, I will pray for healing because God asks us to "pray without ceasing," among other verses.
I believe it is always God's will to heal. Sickness is a consequence of a sinful world. That's helpful to remember in those rare times when a person does not get well.

As a Christian, and having been "sick" several times in my life, I always ask for God's "will" because:
1) That is what is required of believers; HE made us, so he is allowed to do whatever HE chooses for us, and,
2) If he chooses to take us "home" (to Heaven), then we are obviously in a better place, no? If he doesn't take us home, then we are still on this planet to achieve something that we have not fulfilled in HIS time.
Don't get me wrong, I do ask God to heal me, or make me better, but only if that is within HIS will.

a little of both most of the time i pray for his will to be done in my life whatever it may be, but there are some days when i get to feeling selfish and down and i pray to be well--but then i get to thinking about all the other people in this world have cancer, aids, MS, cystic fibrosis, and all these other horrible diseases and all i have is alllergies and slight asthma and how bad they have it but how THANKFUL they are to live to see another day and how joyous they are and how much faith they have to trust in the Lord to give them the grace to overcome there trials and pains and the Lord lifts me up and i thank him for letting me be healthy and live to see another sunrise and another sunset!

To be well of course ,because God is never had a plant to make us sick ! it was all the demon's plan to make us sick and suffer ,okay sometimes sickness will snap us back to God when we have walk faraway from God ,but it was all demon's game ,God has die in cross to free us from the sin and sick ,and when God walks the earth ,he healed sick ,not make another sickness ,so pray and please to God for your health ,remember ,God is our loving-care father .

Most people I know have prayed to be well if it is God's will. Fortunately, I've never been that ill.

Sometimes light acts as a particle, and sometimes as a wave. They are complimentary, and you can't measure one without affecting the other. Sometimes the divine is imminent, and sometimes it is infinite. Sometimes it's local, and sometimes it's an express. So how do you worship a paradox? How can you ask a favor of it? You do what seems important at the time. There are three answers to prayers, "Yes, No and Wait Awhile."
If we could give you certain answers, it would be science, not religion.

I always pray if it is God's will that i be well, As we can not dictate to God what we want , also never forget to praise him for his wonderful mercies to us this is important. We do not want be ungrateful.
