I am a doctor. I would not charge money because I do not make them. I would not prescribe them, because they are not medications I use in my field.

If you were particularly deficient in those steroids, perhaps a specialist in the field (an endocrinologist) would prescribe the medications for you. The pharmacist would charge you whatever the usual rate is for these medications depending on which country you are in and if you have insurance that covers this stuff or whatever.

Otherwise, in order to obtain anabolic steroids you will need to go to the black market and get dodgy drugs and watch your balls shrink.

Incidentally, I happen to be CPC-H so I'm up on all the majority of rules and regulations for health care.

Let's assume you have a "lab" and all the ingredients -- I'd say no, and if they asked again you were going to report them to the police.

Any provider can lose they're license for illegal practice; and most Rx are restricted (hence the need for Rx) and how they're produced, etc...so while it isn't necessarily an "illegal drug" it would more than likely still be illegal to make.

Not to mention the steroids in question aren't too pretty; take a look at the link on Wikipedia.

Also, if you know of a provider doing such a thing; call officials and ask questions...see if they CAN do it or not...are they being ethical in their practice?

NOW my evil side will speak

On the flip side of that -- if I had no morals/values and I was a doctor or other person who could make these things...I'd charge whatever the hell I wanted because if they didn't like it they could find somebody else to do it.

"supply and demand".

Doctors and pharmacists do not "make" drugs, they prescribe them. Anabolic steroids are found in medications that are prescribed for a wide variety of conditions.

Steroids are dangerous and are not good for you, and no doctor will prescribe them unless there is nothing else that will solve the problem.
