This is completely random, but me and my best friend are having a fight over if the other men on the groom's side (other than the best man) were called groom's men or something else.

PS, I am not getting married. My older brother is and the subject came up about groomsmen and we weren't sure if that's what it was called.

We couldn't come up with a different name, but at first it didn't sound right.

Yup.

The best man is just that...and everyone is a groom's man or a groom's attendant, if you have women on his side as well.

They are called groomsmen (if they stand up front with the bridesmaids) - they are ushers if they seat the guests.

Uh, yeah I agree that it's groomsmen, but what was the other name you two argued about? What else could it be??

Traditionally they're called Ushers, but they've also become known as groom's men as well. Neither is wrong, or "more right" than the other.
