I first stayed at home alone when I was 10, but only for an hour or two at the most. (that's up to the parents discretion I believe) Plus I had my parents calling me every five minutes and my neighbor checking up on me.
16 is the age to be home alone overnight.
18 to be on your own.
It cant be 13, cause you can babysit at 11.

I would have to say 13. But this would also depend on maturity level. I be darned if I let my girls stay at home, they have no common sense and fight too much. Plus they would let all the neighborhood kids come in to play video games. It would depend upon the trust that your parents have in you.

if you want to stay home alone for a few hours its 13 but to live on your own it would be 18.

From what I have seen on the news,most parents seem to think the minimum age is ten months.
