my dog walks all around the backyard no problem, i even went out with her planty of times without the leash and she would walk right next to me or wait for me if he walked too fast or catch up with if she got far behind, but all of the sudden she would just want to run freely and wont listen to my calls, runs away when i call her. I now tried to walk her on a leash but its like shes got some kind of trauma with leashes, she wont walk AT ALL, she looks terrified and lays, i pet her and talk to her sweetly but nothing, i tried to barely push her or pull just a bit, but she just WONT walk AT ALL, i need her to walk her out side cause if she poops in the yard my mom wont let me have her, any help?

PS: i read the other questions bout this, but all the answers say "if she walks a little bit give her a treat" but she wont walk at all, i pet her nicely but no luck.

If you pet her when she lays down, you are rewarding the submissive behavior. Since you don't want her to lay down, don't pet her when she does it.
My dog used to be afraid of the leash too, we just tried to act very no-nonsense about it, avoided eye contact with her when we put it on, and quickly brought her out the door. Try walking her around the house with the leash, maybe she's associating the leash with something outside that scares her.

I have 2 dogs and I got my min-pin first. He would do alot of the things you describe before I got Tito. Once Jake saw that Tito loved walks, he got on board and he brings the leash to me now. I can't say it will work for you, but you might try walking her with another dog. Tito is a 100lb pitt bull and has a ton of energy he wants to run off so Jake is in the best shape also.

Someone taught her the command "stay put." They do it with a leash and have to dog sit, stay put. And if the dog budges at all, they flip the leash up to pop the dog somewhere. Unfortunately it gives dogs a fright of leashes.

I'd get with an animal trainer. You want her to learn to take walks with you--that's part of the fun of having a dog!

If u don't have one, get a harness leash. They feel more secure and not strangled. Be firm with your hand and voice but do not yell she will get confused.

Treats are good but only use when she actually listens or she will not know why you are rewarding her.

See if your local dog training club has an obedience class. It's well worth it.
