Umm- hermaphrodite only medically refers to those with exactly equal genitalia. Very rare, and usually considered derogatory.

Mentally, people have one assignment of gender. However, people with psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia can have difficulty with boundaries in general, so the concepts of identity blur.

Depending on life's influences these days I would suppose anything is possible in a persons own mind. But in all reality., naturally, I do not think so. I think people like this are have a struggle dealing with their own fleshy desires. Now days the motto is, if it feels good, it is ok. But it would feel good for me to murder people that make me extremely anger but it is wrong. so I control those urges. If the person is a boy he should shake the girly thoughts and visa versa.

Yes, it's possible. There is something called behavioral androgyny where a person identifies as feeling both male and female.

Behavioral androgyny deals more with social and personal conflicts dealing with identity. This is different than physiological androgyny which has to do with gender indentity and is where a person is born with both male and female genitalia.

I'd imagine so. There are hermaphrodites, who were physically born with both parts. Are you meaning mentally?

yes, it's called "hermaphrodite"

the term came about from the gods Aphrodite (love) and, i believe, Hermes, but i don't know what he is

and Stephen Lynch made a really funny song about it called Hermaphrodity
