Try mayonaise. Plaster mayonaise on your hair and cover with saran wrap for at least two hours and a shower cap. Then wash out twice with a gentle shampoo and then use a good conditioner and rinse. Also hot olive oil, and keep on your hair for two hours, wash out and condition. Don't get any more perms. Give your hair a rest. If you do eventually want to curl your hair again, ask for Matrix Body Wave. Ask the hair technician to use large rods, and leave on your hair only five minutes. Then the neutralizer and then wash out. Tell her your hair takes a curl very easily and the average 15 minutes is too much for your hair. If she insists on the 15 minutes, tell her it is your money, and you know what is best for your hair. This way you will get a gentle wave but not fried hair. But I would not perm my hair for at least a year.

Redken All Soft Silk Fuel is what I use.

Did the salon do your perm?

When that happened to me, the salon said to make sure and give your hair a protein treatment (sally's) before you perm. And if you're going to color, color AFTER the perm. My hair is so fine it only takes a couple of minutes before it's done.

Good luck!

If your ends are damaged, there is no magic product that will 'un-do' the damage...you have to cut the damaged parts off and start over.

You should try the Matrix products.

Trim the ends if possible; then try mayonnaise.
