We had a leak in the condo next to ours a few weeks ago and I was wondering if there was any long term effects? My dog lost her voice the day after and has yet to bark normally. Does anyone know is this could be the culprit, or if the gas could have effected us and we could not know yet?

Natural gas poisoning has the same symptoms as carbon monoxide poisoing:
headache
dizziness
nausea
vision issues
hearing problems
weakness
drowsiness
symptoms like you have the flu

No, if the gas affected you, you would know by now. The dog would have experienced the same symptoms...particularly the weakness making him/her unsteady on his/her feet. I don't know why it would affect his/her bark unless the fumes irritated his/her voice box. I would have the dog checked as it may or may not be related. I suspect it is unrelated since this happened weeks ago. I think it is time for a visit to the vet.
