Yes the world is aware of Global Warming.
The sea levels will rise.
The way you deal with that challenge is you protect the low level areas with dike systems similar to those in Holland.
Hurricanes will become more frequent and stronger. The way you deal with that is you upgrade your disaster preparedness systems that you already have for hurricanes.
There will be more dorughts. The way you handle that is you help the affected areas with supplemental water supplies and desalination plants.
Fortunately the challenges associated with Global Warming are easy to solve, and we already have all of the technologies and systems in place to handle the problem.
Global Warming cannot be stopped.
To stop Global Warming requires that we cut world wide carbon dioxide emissions to less than one tenth of what they are today.
To accomplish that we would have to shut down the transportation systems world wide. There could be no automobiles, motor scooters motorcycles, buses, trucks ,trains, planes or shipping world wide.
We would have to shut down all manufacturing world wide. We would have to shut down all steel making and cement making as well.
We would have to stop the heating of all of our homes, offices and factories, even when it is below zero degrees outside.
We would also have to shut down all air conditioning.
We would have to stop heating all water for washing and bathing.
We would have to learn to bathe in cold water.
We would have to stop the cooking of all food.
We would have to stop the generation of electricity with fossil fuels.
We would have to make these cuts world wide. There can be no exceptions.
The People's Repuiblic of China alone emits enough carbon dioxide to cause Global Warming even if every other country shut down 100%
The People's Republic has already said that they refuse to even cut back their emissions of carbon dioxide.
They have also said that they consider any attempt to force them to cut back their use of fossil fuels to be an act of war against them.
To stop Global Warming you would have to go to war against The People's Republic of China.
A war with The People's Republic of China would really cause Global Warming!!!
As long as The People's Republic of China refuses to go along voluntarily you cannot stop Global Warming no matter what you do..
Fortunately we are ready and able to build the dike systems, upgrade the disaster preparedness systems and provide the supplemental water supplies and desalination plants when they are needed.
Yes, we are way ahead of you on this, you do not need to worry.
We have been working on this problem long before it ever occurred to you.
We have the solutions to mitigate the challenges of Global Warming well planned and ready to be carried out when they are needed.

We must colonize other planets so that when Earth is useless we have somewhere else to live.
I think no matter what we do now, eventually the earth will be unliveable. Either by pollution, war, desease or natural disaster. With 2nd and 3rd world countries polluting and putting more and more carbons into the atmosphere, I don't think we can turn this around. It will be another 100 years before countries like China might actually try to reduce carbons and pollution and using up resources, etc etc.

I believe that people hear about global warming but don't really understand it. They don't know the specifics of what is happening and how fast it is happening. Because of this people choose to ignore the problem rather than to face it. This is why things like Al Gore's movie and Live Earth are great because they raise awarness and people are more likely to help. But it is obvious that we are not doing enough to stop the problem and the only hope we have is that when people start realizing how bad it really is they will do something!

Enough, if not more than enough, information is being displayed and pushed upon world society, just noone takes it seriously. Just like 9-11, noone takes anything for granted until a serious event occurs or something valuable gets taken away. People won't listen until it's near too late, and that'll be the downfall of society and our world as we know it. Too much self indulgence but not enough worldly awareness. It's a shame that our world is going to **** and noone seems to care.

I think people have information about global warming and they are aware but they arent doing anything about it. They just dont care but they are going to care once its to late and theres nothing to do about it i think the earth concert was a waste most people were there just to see the celebrities!

Most people don't give a darn. Because the temperatures predicted for our planet seem so small that it is not an issue and, because of our belief that a couple of degrees warmer is no big deal. Unfortunately, a world wide change of temperature will be devastating.

man i don't think so. people get so caught up with their lives that they don't really care or pay attention. The future society is going to be in a lot of trouble. I think people should pay more attention to it and look in to it more so they will be more aware and will be able to prevent disasters that could happen in the future

I am. It was only 102 degs here today i like it at about 118 degs.
I DON'T LIKE THE COLD. i could due without winter.
