He has already saved all Mankind.
All they need do is hear and obey the truth.
That is why Jesus commanded:
"He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned."
Mark 16:15-16

If God let the 'good' people from other religions into heaven then how could He be a good judge? God set forth rules to live our lives by (the 10 commandments). How many do you have to follow to be a 'good' person? If I live a 'good' life but I murder someone and I a good person? No. Are the commandments listed in order of importance? I don't know maybe yes, maybe no. If yes then loving God is the most important thing you can do, even Jesus said that, people from other religions don’t love God they love their god. That means they fail by the law.
If the commandments are all equally ranked then how many do you have to follow to be 'good'?
If you don't love God but follow the other 9 are you 'good'?
If you steal (remember that even stealing a pen is theft) but follow the other 8 are you still 'good'?
If you lie (even a white lie is a lie) but follow the other 7 are you still 'good'?
If you work on the Sabbath but follow the other 6 are you still 'good'?
If you lust after a celebrity (Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie for example, Elle McPherson was another) then you lust for someone other than your spouse, or if you look at pornography you lust and commit adultery in your heart. If you follow the other 5 are you still 'good'?
If you hate someone then you have committed murder in your heart (God views hate as the equivalent to murder in your heart). If you follow the other 4 are you still 'good'?
If you desire what others have (think 'keeping up with the Jones's') then you covert what they have and have sinned. Are you still 'good' of you follow the other 3?
If you don't love your neighbour as much as you love yourself are you still 'good' if you follow the other 2?
We can't say that 1 is 'good' or 7 is 'bad'. God tells us a few very simple things (10 things) that will enable us to live a righteous life and be worthy of Him. If someone from another religion could live by these laws then I guess they'd get into Heaven. I think I've shown this to be impossible though and it is only through salvation that we can get into heaven. Jesus died for our sins; He died so that we could be saved. Jesus is salvation. God would not be just if He set forth rules for us to follow then changed His mind when we died. The rules that are set out are the one's we need to live by.
God Bless

Hi again =D
It's not religions that concerns God. God doesn't care about man's religions. All He cares about is the record he has against you and me in heaven. A record of every sin that's been committed, with each sin on its own enough to condemn the soul into hell (and there are volumes to our accounts). This record needs to be somehow dealth with.
God knows that no one can keep his laws. He knew that apart from his intervention, not one human soul would be in heaven. So he sent his Son (Jesus Christ, who's God himself) to pay that debt that we owed. God in heaven is satisified and will be forever satisified with the payment that Christ has paid, the question is are you?
According to God's word, you can know and be Sure that you'll be in heaven, with no guesswork at all. How comforting would that be if you had that assurance! There's no hopeful thinking here.. "i hope i'll be in heaven." God promises that You will be in heaven if you believe on his son!!
1John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Yes He could, but the point is he wants US to make the choice.
Its like when yu have a small child... even if they took a cookie from the jar after you told them not to, you could still let them watch TV instead of grounding them.. but the child has to learn right and wrong. Some people will just be grounded for eternity, I guess?

There is not a rule about what religion gets into heaven. It is whether you believe that Jesus dies for you sins do you find the salvation and redemption of eternal life.

i don't believe in religion partly because it is so contradictory... they say that every good person gets into "heaven" but then if you are a different religion you are automatically a bad person because of it .. even if you lead a wonderful life full of decency. its all bullshit... all religions are just cults ... they suck people in and force them to believe whatever they say is truth and the only truth at that ... though they have no proof of it to even make it fact

you would think so hey? I'm sure there are people out there that have mental illness etc or other great people that Christians say are destined to hell that deserve to go to a place like heaven... what about little kids too?

No one gets into heaven because of their own goodness.
"as it is written: None is righteous, no, not one" (Romans 3:10)
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23)
If we do not come to God on His terms, according to His instructions, by His authority, or according to His plan; then you have not come to Him at all.
If you follow another set of instructions, if you follow another religion, then you are following the one who gave those instructions. If you are following someone else, then it is up to them to save you by whatever plan they have given.
If they cannot save you, don't blame God! God told us in the Bible how we can be saved. If you want God to save you, follow his plan! If you want God to save you, come to Him instead of going to someone else!
Any religion is only as good as the "god" it follows!

He does.
With one condition, that they do good deeds, and believe in the existence of a single Creator.
Then, regardless of their religion they will enter heaven

if you're talking about Christianity, no.
one of the things you need to do to get into heaven is believe in him.. that's even in the first commandment.. "thou shalt not have any other gods before me"
another misconception is that just because you're a "good person" then you'll go to heaven...
you have to be pure of heart, and know and love the lord.. be humble and follow the word and teach the word.
and i'm not saying you're not a good person..
