If you hired him to do a specific thing, then he should provide you with a report of his efforts. If he was paid to check on someone, or follow someone, then he should be able to tell you where that person has been and where they are. He should be able to provide you with video and still photography and with a chronological report of his findings. Is it a case of hiring him because of some suspicion that you had, but he is unable to report that your suspicions were correct. Then replace him and see what the other one finds. If he finds nothing also, then you suspicions were probably incorrect. Good Luck.

Like someone said, ask for a report on what he has so far. If he doesn't really have anything, consider firing him and going with another company.
But just remember, sometimes they won't be able to find anything out, even if they are a good investigator and are working hard on your case.

there's no college for inner maximum investigators. maximum are retired police investigators or officers who had diverse time in regulation enforcement. inner maximum investigators do bypass tracing, do history tests, do cheating spouses situations, do surveillance on the behalf of shoppers. they do no longer do forensic stuff. it incredibly is television.

Figure out what an acceptable accomplishment in a certain amount of time and if he does what you want in the amount of time you want it, then he is doing his job.. Basically if you don't like what he is doing for you then he is not doing his work.

You can't....if you were able to figure that out, you wouldn't need the private eye in the first place- you'd be able to do it.
