These were three important lessons my son learned (bearing in mind he was autistic):

#1: Do not try to bounce on the doggies.
#2. Running on gravel can hurt.
#3. Never go near the woodstove when it is hot.

Love the Lord with all your heart, He will never abandon you, and treat others as you would want to be treated. I will add a fourth, if it's OK. Honor your mama or you will be very sorry!
[ My children are grown, so now I'm into spoiling grand-kids, after I remind them of the first three lessons.]

1. Respect everyone for their differences and always be open minded.
2. Be sincere, it is the most endearing quality a person can have.
3. Love whole heartedly even if you are hurt along the way, it's worth every scar!

I will teach my children to:
1. Stay away from catholic preists(Randy Basterds)!
2. The majority of Catholics are Idiots!
3. And finaly i would teach them to always obey the first rule!

Sorry, no children... but I can share my mother's wisdom in her 3-word phrases...

1- Pick it up!
2- Put it back!
3- Clean it up!
4- Don't go empty-handed! (hyphenated = 1 word!)
