Someone who I haven't heard from in a while referred someone to me (another travel agency) Me and him have been in an "off and on" type of thing for awhile. But sometimes he seems as if he doesnt care, so I was suprised when I heard from him. I'm also beginning to wonder if he gave me the referral because he wants me to move back into the area he's in and this person specializes in the area. He always seems to "be on time" when I really miss him though. It was nice to know he was thinking about me though. What's ur opinion?

usually if someone is helping and someone and they know you are good in your field they will refer whether they like you or not. Just good business practice where personal vendettas don't apply.

move on girl. on and off relationships are so draining and they are always "on time" I know it feels good knowing that he is thinking of you but I wouldn't entertain it at all b/c that's what he wants you to do even though his actions could have been genuine. Make him pick up the phone and call like a real man should. Dont call him I would act as if the referral didnt even happen. I wouldnt read too much more into it.

Let him go, he leaves once, that should be enough of a sign for you. He's using you!
