I would never have believed this if it had not happened to me just yesterday.
I was backing out of my driveway to take a much needed night out with my husband yesterday, and there were some JW's blocking my driveway.....They would not move until my husband yelled for them to leave the property....I was blown away...I WAS a JW for 22 years and I never saw or heard of such aggressive behaviour. Is this the new way to approach people?
There are those who will say that I am making this up, but I am not, I do not need to make up things. What is up?

OK....It is interesting I have to explain MY actions....I have a driveway about 75' long....I was backing out....They were standing in my driveway and I could go no further....I honked...They STILL would not let my car pass....My husband rolled down the window, and yelled....MOVE, PLEASE...They still stood there...then he said NOW! and they startrd to walk to the side of the car...they were going to speak and I just continued to back out and I left......They were holding Watchtower magazines........I guess they were Baptists disguised as Jehovah's Witnesses to make the JW's look bad.

you need to get yourself a life and stop criticising Jehovah God and his people on this website.
you didn't want to be known as one of God's people anymore - fine. That's your problem.Jer.8:2

Dislexic why you are avoiding my Question? is this false yes or no, and prove it ?
after Armageddon and destruction of wrongdoers and Satan put in "Jail" Jesus will rule the earth (Revelation 5:10) will resurrect people and bring them to earth(Acts 24:15 and John 5:28-29) will provide food and eliminate famines in the planet(Psalm 72:16) will restore the health of humans (Isaiah35:5-6, 33:24) will eliminate the death and the cause of the death and suffering (Revelation 21:4) in resumen will transform the earth in a great place to live a "new earth" the original purpose of God with Adam and Eve (Genesis 1:28)

Were you a baptized witness or were you attending the meetings with your family? Not to point fingers but all of the questions you ask about us have negative connotations. Do you have a bone to pick with the us? We are very careful NOT to block driveways and gates. We will park and walk many blocks. But our cars/vans are not parked in driveways. You said your husband had to yell but you did not mention if anyone yelled back. Possibly they were not aware of you until you called to them. Whatever the case, I want to go on record. I apologize for any inconvenience that last nights incident caused you.
(Romans 12:17-18) 17 Return evil for evil to no one. Provide fine things in the sight of all men. 18 If possible, as far as it depends upon YOU, be peaceable with all men.

For decades, Jehovah's Witnesses have trained their door-to-door ministers to be peaceable, and to give no valid cause for complaint by non-Witnesses.
(Romans 12:17,18) Provide fine things in the sight of all men. If possible, as far as it depends upon you, be peaceable with all men.
(Titus 2:2-5) Let the aged men be moderate in habits, serious, sound in mind...Likewise let the aged women be reverent in behavior ...that the word of God may not be spoken of abusively.
It would seem remarkably coincidental that an actual Jehovah's Witness would choose to ignore all his training and the Scriptures themselves in (of all places) the driveway of a virulent anti-Witness activist. Perhaps a statistician or expert on religious intolerance is better equipped to answer regarding what is up with this so-called "question".

I am one of them and know a great many others. And I know there is a pride in being both humble and respectful of the public. I suspect something other that what you describe is the more likely.
I do know that in my neighborhood there are other religions now knocking on doors and walking in groups.
Some are Baptist, Mormons, 7th day Adventists.
Even some of the Catholics tried it for a while requested by the Pope (Some time ago) It didn't get popular (In Italy)
So with the afore mention, I tend to doubt it.

Who are Jehovah's Witnesses?
Up close and personal Jehovah's Witnesses can be wolves in sheep's clothing.
Think about this-When the devil comes knocking on your door he may not have the 'dark goth look'.They could be smartly dressed and wielding the Christian Bible.
I have Jehovah's Witnesses family who practice the Watchtower JW enforced ritual shunning that i have not seen or heard from in 15 years.
The central core dogma of the Watchtower is Jesus second coming (invisibly) in 1914 and is a lie.Jehovah's Witnesses are a spin-off of the man made Millerite movement of 1840.
A destructive cult of false teachings, that frequently result in spiritual and psychological abuse, as well as needless deaths (bogus blood transfusion ban).
NO Tolerance for the beliefs of others.
A key difference between a real "mainstream" religion, like Catholicism, and a cult like Jehovah's Witnesses is that cults don't tolerate dissent.
The Watchtower cult is like "Hotel California"
Yes,you can 'check out anytime you want but you can never leave',because they can and will hold your family hostage.
Shunning is something cults do to control the rest of the group through fear and to shame the one shunned.
The world has the Internet now,and there are tens of thousands of pages up from defrauded Jehovah's Witnesses like myself who have been abused by the Watchtower cult.
The Watchtower is a truly Orwellian world.

I know you are not making this up. I am wondering the same thing. A couple of years ago we had a house fire, they approached my husband when he was doing work at the fire site. he pointed out that we could use some help and they still yammered on about what ever. They were not going to give up until he told them they had to help him empty the house if they wanted to talk to them. You'd think they would have gotten some of their friends together and offered to help after all that is the godly thing to do.

I have never seen that one before... but the last one that came to my house (before I married one- and since he left, they won't come near us) asked me if I knew who Jehovah was... and when I said YES, they left..... I thought that was pretty darn interesting. Sometimes I wonder if they are hoping people will NOT be home, or not answer. Odd that they were out at night, I have absolutely no idea what they could be trying to prove by standing at the end of your driveway. Pray for them. Good for you for always remembering it is not their fault.

That IS bizarre. Do they know who you are?
I've seen occasionally in my many years as a dub where someone just loses it out in "the work." Could be that... Or... See link below...
Edit: Regarding "Dedicated to the Truth's" comment... You'd rather say she made this up than deal with the issues. Nice.
