how do visitations work when in airforce tech school training

Some bases have guest houses that family members can stay at.

If not, they stay at a local hotel.

In the USAF, you will be confined to base the first 30 days of tech school.

So no visiting then.

After 30 days, you will be allowed off base on weekends, but you will still have a curfew.

You will get leave after tech school, unless your family lives close to your tech school, i'd advise you to just wait untill you graduate and go home on leave.

Here's how it works in the Marine Corps.... No visiting at all during boot camp... except the final two days, during approved times and under strict guidelines.

Once you're out of boot, you get "liberty" on weekends.. .and can have visitors... This is true throughout Combat Training (both MCT and ITB) and then into any technical training you'll have. Once you get to school, you'll be allowed to have a car on base (usually...) and then you can leave the base in the evenings... so you could have someone visit in the local area and leave the base to see them...

While I was in Tech School a lot of people had their families come out to visit them and just left base when they progressed in the Phase Program to spend time with them.

Of course you can see your family after Basic Training. Unless you do something stupid, you should be allowed to leave base on the weekends to see whomever you like. You can usually even get your family on base if you meet them at the gate. It all depends on how long your tech school is, how good your personal conduct is, and the force protection level at the base.

You will probably be confined to base during the initial stages of your training.
At a certain point (determined by the military) you will have an off base pass, and then your family can visit you. Probably as well at your graduation ceremony.

You should have weekends free to do what you want unless they have you on some kind of duty. Could be restricted to base for first few weeks also. At least that is what I remember and the people I put into the AF. Of course that has been awhile ago.

while you're married and stay in base housing you will have them stay with you whilst they bypass to. while you're no longer married and stay in the barracks they are going to likely could stay in a inn off base. you're able to examine as some bases do have adequate customer quarters you're able to get them a room there.

when you are given permission to leave base, you may meet someone off base and escort them on. you may NOT have overnight guests, and you may NOT have guests of the opposite sex in your barracks room at any time.
