It's best not to pop your ears; it puts extra pressure on the tympanic membrane, which is already under stress from your cold.
If you can take decongestants, that will help the pressure, as well as a pain reliever.
If you're not better in a week, you may have a sinus infection and need antibiotics. You will need to see a doctor for that.

How are you "popping" your ears? There is nothing harmful about chewing gum or otherwise opening your mouth wide to do that ear popping thing. You should not be holding your nose and mouth shut while blowing though. Any mucous will just get pushed further up, where it needs to drain down.
You may have fluid in the ear which could take awhile to go away. Try a decongestant, but keep in mind that they cut both ways. Sometimes they work and sometimes they thicken the fluid so much it won't move around for you.
It sounds like a crappy head cold to me, which I HATE during the summer. Take a steamy bath, eat hot soup, any thing that makes your nose runny. If you can't hear better in a week or get pains, go to the doctor. It could be an infection.

You know your body more than anybody else. If I am in your shoe, I would definitely seek for medical attention. But on the other hand, I remember once, I was puking and my stomach was all goggling. I had constantly run to the bathroom. It continued about 3 days in a row and finally I had it and took myself to emergency room. They gave me IV drops and x-ray my tummy. The reason turned out that I had stomach fluid. After I was discharged from the hospital, that same night I actually felt good and the next day the syndrome disappeared.

Popping the ears is not good. Try boiling water and apple cider vinegar in a pot on the stove. Once to boiling, turn it off and place a towel over you head and drop your face as close as you can to the boiling water/vinegar. Breath both through your nose and mouth. Inhaling as much as you can stand. It will help break up the blockage througout your head. Do it as often as needed.

You have a sinus blockage for sure. Eating hot and spicy food will help a lot......like hot chili con carne or other spicy Mexican foods. As for your ears I think you would do well to see a doctor.

you probably have a sinus infection. You should see the doc and get checked. If you do, you need anti biotics. Meantime try standing in a steamy shower to un clog temporarily.
