ALL languages have their own beauty. The more you know of one, the more connections everything has, and the more beautiful something can be. And contrariwise, the uglier something can be.
One of my German teachers rhapsodized over the beauty of Die Lorelei. I couldn't see (or hear) it myself, but he was obviously sincere.

Yes it does, besides that you can communicate with a lot of people around the word. Even in the USA is expected that for the 2020 Latins will be the biggest group inside the USA, so we'll need it a lot.
Pee Ter G your arguments are flat and none sense. It doesn't matter how much you don't like, what's happening right now is something that either you nor a little bunch of ignorants out there will stop. Here in the USA are more legal Latin immigrants than the illegal ones. Here, you can start to count the Puerto Ricans, who are American Citizens as you are and just them make almost 6 to 7 millions, may be more, in the USA. Most of the highest positions in the NASA, something the Americans felling proud of, are Latins, most of them Puerto Ricans ladies. Most of the hard work here in the USA is perform by Latins, the ARMY is recruting new soldiers in Mexico, Central and South American and inside their package of benefits, Guess what? The American Citizenship is included, Guess which home this boys will go after either if this stupid war of Bush is over or if they finish service or got hurt or are sent home for resting? The USA Pee Ter boy, here. So, body, you better get used to it, Latins are here to stay. Be learning some Spanish if you want to get a good job in the near future.
Sorry, I was looking forward to send you this on a personal E-mail, to avoid making you look as a moron and to avoid you the embarrassment that you are wrongly blind, but as many so-worried-people for the country whom think alike, you don't allow E-mails, I had to done it like this.

joteropr I disagree.
The only reason for such a huge latin community now is because they come here illegally here in the first place. I'm sick of seeing spanish on everything so a bunch of illegals can read all of this. Japanese is actually the biggest in the USA when it comes to LEGALITY. Obviously you should know border security is a huge problem right now. We're not going to learn spanish to please people like you and illegals.
Sure its a nice language but the FACT that the ONLY reason why they are such a big amount is because they come here, dump off their child, go back to mexico or stay with their baby so their baby can give them money when it grows up and grow it to be a liberal to vote for illegals to become legal like what the Lt. Govenor tried to do (under Gray Davis) in California, making California DRIVERS LICENCES in SPANISH AND ENGLISH as well as giving all illegals a free drivers licencse no charges no fees no questions asked, it almost costed us millions of dollars as taxpayers.
Think before you say you screaming liberal.

Yes, it does.
Spoken Spanish can melodically lull one into a sense of comfort and peace.
Written Spanish with its rich imagery and strong subtexts can transport your mind to places you only thought existed in dreams.
Suerte.

Not in America.
Anyway if your spanish then it does even though when translated to any language it has alot of backwards words and sentences.
You can see alot of its "beauty" by going to Spain.
