I have heard this is not a recommended breeding cross unless each pedigree had 4 generations of correct colors? (something like that) Anyways, I have seen a litter that was bred this way and had eleven pups...all black and 2 harliquens. There was no miscolorings and all pups are healthy and beautiful.

p.s. Don't tell me not to breed, because I have no clue what I'm doing. I'm not breeding anything. I'm simply asking a question.

the color has nothing to do with anything but color. To breed with another color only means the more dominant color usually prevails(black over white) but has no bearing or the fitness of the pups. Only the pedigree may b in ? if u bred him or her with the wrong mate.

Don't breed. You have no clue what you're doing and there are tons of Danes in rescue.

it depends on if you are a color purist. mixing colors will eventually screw up both coat colors
