Organized religions are the root of all evil. They have been and will continue to self-destruct at the expense of God. Organized religions need to be banished all together so that mankind can recompile all the holy texts and letters and return to a faith of God as one. I hope this helps. Best Regards, M.G.S.

The promise is that as technologies move even further along, within a half-century, today's computer will is viewed as an absurd antique, a relic in a museum, and as we learn more and more about our solar system, our galaxy and the universe, as medical science continues to gallop forward, as education becomes an essential rather than time to 'party,' most religious beliefs, including Christianity and in the West, Islam, will go by the way. There will be throwbacks and hold-outs in the Middle East and in the American South, sure, but in the main religious belief, as it has existed for a few centuries and exists now, will simply have no place in the new societies. Others changes will emerge as well-the USA will decline to a point where the UK has been since WWII, we'll live longer (creating all manner of societal woes), and jaunts into nearby space will become the norm. Etc., etc. Be of good cheer--you'll all be six feet under by then, or wish you were. Old age is not for sissies.

i think it's only a matter of time. Most young people are either atheists or skeptics who have not yet come out of the closet. Most christians i have talked to keep saying they have many questions about their religion but they still believe. Yes, but for how long? After a while you realize there are no good answers to your questions and that the whole story wouldn't even hold sand or water.
In theory by now, religion should have been completely eradicated because the more we know, the less our need to make up stories to explain events. For example, we no longer need noah's ark to explain rainbows we now know how it happens etc. the only reason it is still here is because of something we call faith. That phenomenon that blinds people to reason or common sense. But even that is fast fading because, as i said, the more you know, the less you need (or can believe) fairy tales. That is why santa claus works till a certain age.

Not sure theocratic systems are good for society, just look at most middle east countries, where Muslim and Islamic religions are controlling peoples up to their bedrooms!! Religions must be taken with a grain of salt or it falls into absolutism, which is much worst than no religions at all!
Also, in countries with no state religion, it is easier to get along with everybody of different fate. Religions are acting like clique, and if your not member of such clique you become an adversary or a bad person, which is what we must avoid!

I live in the Southern U.S., and religion is very, very popular here. I just don't see it going away, at least regionally. New churches are being built all over the place, and religion is a very hot topic of conversation. It's everywhere. Most churches are reporting increases in membership. So even if religion seems to be declining elsewhere, I don't see any evidence of that happening in the American South.

Europe is well on its way. There are cracks starting to show in the US. It is going to take a while but it will. All religions die out eventually. Anubis once ruled the entire civilized world. Zeus too.

Eventually the religions of today will go the way of Zeus and Odin. It may take hundreds of years. Hopefully we won't enter another dark age or simple kill ourselves in the mean time.

religion will never go, thats a good thing.. the bad thing is that religion is being mixed up with school and jobs and s-h-i-t ! All kind of religions should be respected. When only one religion will not be respected.. thats the first step to the end of freedom
