I guess you missed the entire story. The so called chick was also the adopted daughter of the woman he was seeing and had a child with. He was at the time a trusted father figure in the lives of Mia Farrow's children. Instead of being a grown up and telling Soo Yi that it really was inappropriate for her to have such feelings for him, he allowed Woody Jr to do the talking and well....there you have it. I can't even look at him anymore.

It wasn't actually wrong. Society says it is wrong because of what it looked like. The girl being his adopted daughter made everyone think of him as doing his daughter, which really is wrong. He was married or just together with Mia, whatever I don't know, when it all began, which is more wrong to certain religions than others. America being primarily Christian, they got all wigged out about it.
Personally, I see nothing wrong with it. I know I could never love an adopted child as if it were my child. Maybe he was the same way and when she was older she and he went for it. They're not blood related, its not dirty. Its just odd. Though some would argue that he lured her because he was her father figure... I think that's malarky (or however you spell that word I like to use).

first off, she wasn't his adopted daughter. Mia Farrow raised the daughter with someone else. So how is it his daughter? Also, Mia and Allen never married but adopted kids together. The girl was out of the house by the time that they started the affair. Sure, Allen did Mia wrong, but also the girl was legal. It wasn't like he screwed the younger girl and left,no they got married. So, the fact thats wrong is that its HER daughter and he cheated on her.

Where do I start? First, just LOOK at the man! With a face like that, and he had the nerve to run around on Mia Farrow? That's wrong. But then consider where he went trolling for chicks - in his own house! It's not a matter of blood relations, it's a matter of Family. She called him Daddy, and he changed her diaper. Now, she's changing his and calling him... oh, this just has Springer written all over it.

Incest is creepy and wrong.
The girl was his wife's daughter (by adoption), so even if he didn't go through the legal paperwork to adopt her, most people would consider her his daughter too.
Also, he had known the girl since she was in her early teens. Before she was legal. Waaaay before she was legal. That brings up the idea of the "creepy old man" committing pedophilia.
Pedophiles are even more creepy and wrong than implied incest.
Because of that, how can we really know for sure that the girl was "interested" or she was brainwashed by the pedophile into thinking this was ok?
That's what was so wrong about it.

Lexie c is the only one who has it correctly, Mia adopted the girl, Allen had nothing to do with it, didn't live with her, and didn't even meet her until she was much older. The fact that he got with the adopted daughter of his ex is what upsets people I guess.

How much tackier can you get? Even if she wasn't his adopted daughter, she grew up in the same household with him. Whether he liked it or not he was an adult figure in Soon Yi's life. He directly or indirectly made decisions that affected her life. Little did Mia farrow know that her husband was lusting after her adopted daughter as she was growing up, and please don't get me started on that backwards adopted daughter of hers going with that old guy YUCK! They all need therapy.

Trying to excuse himself by saying "the heart wants what it wants." Can you imagine a character in one of his movies saying something that lame?
(But just to clarify things, it was his wife's adopted daughter, not his. Marriage doesn't automatically make your spouse's children your own.)
