We have a 1.5 year old male cat who is neutered and we may be buying a house whos owner also have cats. Is this going to pose as a issue as far as him wanting to spray to mark his territory? Any experiences?

been there done that.....neutered cat wont be a problem, but allow the cat ample time to get used to the new surroundings. FIRST thing is to put the cat box down with fresh litter and show the cat where it will be.

Then, just let him explore

Since your cat is neutered, probably not. But you will want to inspect the house and make sure it is very clean and has no lingering odors.

Congratulations on the new house!

it should cause any problems, but here is a trick. when you move in, open boxes, drawers, closets and cupboards. let you cat wonder in and out as he pleases. he will smell your old stuff in boxes and as it is being put away it will be more familiar too him.
keep his food, water and litter in the same location...so if the food and water were in the kitchen, try to keep it there again...the smells will be the same around him.
good luck

If he is neutered he will be fine i guess, especially if you clean the house well before moving in.
