It depends on what type of discharge. Now it possible to have a General discharge which it depends on your court case whether it will change to honorable after 6 months but anything other discharge thats not honorable you cant have it changed.General or a less then honorable are the only type of discharge which it can be changed after a 6 month time period. Anything else it cant be changed.

sorry it cant. that is the worst discharge you could get. If it was a other than honorable discharge then it could be change in 6 mouths. I think even a bad conduct could be change. I am not sure. I know for sure you could get other than honorable change. Don't worry you could still get a job with a dishonorable but you cant get a Federal job.

in case you have a dishonorable discharge that's particularly particularly uncertain you have got the means to try this. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that in case you are able to exhibit which you weren't given due technique on the time of your discharge, or it became the end results of abusive command, you're able to have the means to make an allure to the army Boad of Correcton of protection rigidity information (ABCMR). the excellent you are able to wish for, even below the excellent situations is being presented an OTH, (different than honorable) discharge. in case you have already got an OTH, thats the excellent you will get.

If you got a dishonorable you must have done something pretty bad. You might be able to upgrade to an other than honorable, but you will still lose all your benefits, and you probably have to pay back some of your bonus, depending how long you had left to ets.

NO. They make sure you get the correct discharge when you get discharged. ESPECIALLY if you got a true dishonorable and not an OTH. In either case it is a pretty strong and lifelong learning experience for you. Do the crime do the time. Sorry about the truth.

With the military that will never change and I don't care what anybody tells you. Whatever you did in the military to get what you probably deserved to get is what you will be stuck with. Now, from here on out for the rest of your life, that you can change and be honoroable in your decisions. You control that and maybe you will be an honorable servant for society. Hell look at walt Disney. Anything is possible! That's the truth!!!!!

If you were in the Navy or the Marine Corps you can petition the Board of Naval Corrections by filling out a DD Form 149. If you go to the web site the form is there for you to fill out. If you were not in the Navy or Marine Corps the form's second page contains who you can submit the form to request the change. In your case I would recommend having a lot of documentation to attach to the form to support your request. It's worth a shot to fill out the form and find out what their decision would be. Best of luck to you!

Check with the VA office.. but I doubt it. It can be done with lawyers, but it would cost a lot of money, and the circumstances would have to be correct.

Do something extraordinary; maybe the president or the next president will notice and make a change.

It is hard now that you are out but if you have evidence that supports why you should not have recieved it, it could possibly be changed. Almost impossible though.
