But I have NO proof. My son is 25 it is his life. BUT my grandbaby girl is only 6 months. My son has already spent time behinde bars. I don't want to see he back there. I'm a Grandmother and if I knew for certain this was happening with one of mine I would not hesitate to do it. They aren't being good parents or role models for the child, so sometimes we have to step in. Make sure it is happening before taking any steps.

Sometimes that is the only thing you can do. But you need to have concrete proof. The only time somebody is going to quit drugs/alcohol/any of that stuff is when they are ready to. And maybe all you can do at this point is give him a shove in that direction.

Fair enough he may be smokin pot and selling it but reporting him would definetely not be the answer You need to let them live their life and make mistakes on there own. They are very young all you can really do is support and love them and be there when they come to their senses...

.Why would you want to make a very bad situation worse.I do agree he is low life for doing this to his daughter but what would it do to her if he were sent to prison for 10 or more years and took the daughters mother down with him. That poor child. You need to sit down with them and tell what you suspect . You said yourself that you don't know for sure. That baby deserves a chance to know her Mommy & Daddy.I know you will do whats best for everyone.

You certainly should, it is child abuse. But, I think you need a little more physical evidence. Does he still have a parol officer? Would you talk to child protection services? Can you take/adopt the child if both parents go to jail?

my dad used to drink around me but I'm going to venture and say I turned out quite nice.

don't turn the fellow in, we don't need anymore innocent folk arrested for consuming such a benign substance.
