yea i was just wondering because a friend of mine always rubs my arm when he hugs me so yea. just wondering what people think.

Either he's just a really touchy feely kind of guy, or he is using any excuse to touch you. If he's just trying to touch you, then he's probably attracted to you and can't quite get the nerve to act on it.
Does he hug everyone like this? If it's just you, well then he's into you.

In a profiling class I took in college once, we talked about different types of body language and what they mean. FOr example, looking up to the right when answering someone typically means he/she is lying. When he carresses your arm like that, he is trying to underlyingly get intimate with you. Depending on your situation with him and whether you are strictly friends, he may want to be more than that, but he may only show it in this manner.

Good question...i'm a guy and i didn't even realize that when i hug girls i do that. Personally because i didn't even realize it i think that it is just something that guys do by accident without knowing. For me it doesn't mean much. lol
That or subconciously guys really really like girls arms. LOL

It is a sign of affection towards you. Not necessarily sexual, just affection. My boyfriend loves to touch my upper arm, it is special to me now, but at first I was not sure how to take it. So Make it positive...and enjoy. Sort of like holding ones hand...Now that I think about it, my Dad us to do the same thing...Like I said, not sexual, just affection.

hmmm I have no clue what your talking about, when ever I hug a guy they don't caress my arms. thats weird. or maybe its just me. They probably like how your arms feel (are they soft?)

that is just getting him started, if he sees she is okay with that then the next step and so on. to him it is a game and he is playing the course. It is a touch of bare skin thing.

they most likely have a crush on you and care about you. this is how they show their affection to you because them don't really have another way.they don't want to break your friendship with them
