Use WD-40 and a sharp SINGLE-EDGE razor blade. Nothin' to it!

Use Goo-Gone. This definitely works! It should come with a plastic scrapper as well which really helps with not scratching the mirror. Let it soak for a minute or 2 and then it just comes right off.Plus, it has a nice orange smell to it.

Another thing you can do that is much cheaper is use rubbing alcohol. Using a cotton ball or paper towels, let it soak into the sticky goo and then use a straight edge razor.

The rubbing alcohol is also good for general cleaning of mirrors! No streaks!

You could use a product like Goof Off or Goo Gone (use the petroleum-based stuff in the metal can, not the ammonia based stuff in the plastic bottle). Nail polish remover should work, too. Just don't let either of those drip onto finished wood, or it will make a permanent mark. You can also use a razor blade at a sharp angle to scrape the residue off the glass without scratching it.

If it's on the glass side of the mirror, acetone nail polish remover will work.

First scrape all extra paper off with a single-edge razor.
The use olive oil.
Rub in little circular motions.
