so he surrenedered to the devil, or he
killed himself? maybe he found out he was crazy, and killed himself....? watch the movie 360, I think that is the name of the movie? with the king of Arabs????I think?? he was calling himself the king of kings, and a god. Then when the javelin hit the side of his face he realized he was a fool... same for Jesus, When he found out he was beaten he was silent to the court of G-d, realizing he was a fake.
Jesus was suppose to be the son of God, he could have called on the angels, or he could have did what Elija did.....when the solders came to arrest him.....like a true prophet of G-d....and called on fire from heaven to consume them.
So this messiah needs sin to defeat sin....a wrong for a wrong....does not sound like a perfect G-d to me?
maybe a week one, to kill himself for me.He could just go though all my sins with me and wipe them out with his power. Sit down with G-d and work it out kinda thing. OR SEEK HIS FACE. Rom3:10-18.

Jesus permitted satan and the forces of evil to put him to death because that was the only legitimate way of allowing the power of evil to actuallly destroy itself.
No one, not even the devil, had the power or the authority to take the life of a sinless man, let alone the only son of God.
When satan and his minions put Jesus to death, they committed the greatest crime of all time, were judged for it, lost everything, and mankind was indeed free of Satan, sin, and death for the first time since Adam's fall.
The fact that Jesus rose again from the dead, by his own power, shows who won and who lost.
Mankind had been eternally enslaved to Satan, sin, and death.
Jesus defeated death.
Jesus certainly defeated Satan.
Simple!

Jesus didn't kill himself. Everything went according to plan and was prophesied centuries before it happened. G-d is a just G-d, wholly good and pure, and cannot look upon sin. What's more, you can't defeat sin (or anything else) by turning in blind eye to it or simply discussing it. Jesus overcame sin and death by taking it all on, dying and raising himself from the dead. Weakness does not choose to lay its life down for a friend and certainly weakness cannot conquer death.
Romans 6:8-10
8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10 The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to G-d.

The animal sacrifices of the Old Testament foreshadowed the sacrifice of Jesus. God accepted those sacrifices for the atonement of our sins in place of our own blood, which He could have rightly taken. However, He did not because He loves us. Instead, He offered the one sacrifice that could stand in the place of our blood for all time. He gave us a perfect Lamb that would atone for the sins of all humanity: Jesus Christ. This is why He died for us. Jesus wasn’t doing it for Himself. That’s why He didn’t call down angels or any other heavenly power. His mission was our salvation. His mission was love. “No love has any man than this, to lay down his life for another.” (paraphrasing).
Sin is what condemned us to death with no escape. It is the price we pay for turning our backs on God. Jesus’ blood took all that away. He defeated sin. There was nothing before Jesus that could have defeated sin. We were done for. His Holy sacrifice healed all of that. So, yes, Jesus defeated sin.

Oh Jesus is real alright- and one day , I hope it is not too late, you will see who He truly is- the son of the living God- and the one who DID DEFEAT sin- He voluntarily to our place on that cross to abolish sin- I am forgiven because of what Christ did on that Cross- however- there would be no hope if He hadn't risen from the dead- and He did- therefore we have hope that we can live forever free from the bondage of sin and death. There have been people that have said- "I am God" however there is only one God- and one day every knee shall bow and every tongue confess, that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father- There is victory in Jesus- He is exactly who He says He is- He was perfect, He never sinned so He could take our place- so that we could have a relationship with God- if you want to know how to truly accept Christ- it is SO simple- 1- admit you are a sinner
2- confess and turn from your sin- Yes, All have sinned and fall short of God's glory
3- accept Christ as your Lord and Savior, and live forever!!
Sins are forgiven ONLY through the shed blood of Christ!

There is more than sufficient documentation to conclude historically that Jesus was a real, living, breathing, human being, so the question would have to be did He do what the Bible says He did. If you seek spiritual knowledge and faith through a movie, you will only be disappointed for their primary objective is to promote secularism. I would hope that if your thirst for the truth is actual, that you would study the Bible and not rely upon Hollywood backed distortions.

It takes five men to subdue a very strong man without herting him. so long as the man they intend to subdue doesn't know there intention . fighting back will only get you hert they will still take you down, it's your choise .. bruses and possably busted fingers or let them do what they're going to do ,, eather way, if they band together , your down , jesus didn't have a choice ,,and not everybody agrees that he had special powers , if he were god though and wanted to proove he was heavenly the surest way to proove that would be to walk around AFTER he's been taken down by the best this earth has to offer.. and they were the top of the line, the best at what they do....and if he did have special powers ,, he wasn't normal and therefore it's not suicide if it ends ,, eather way he stayed as long as we would allow ,we clearly didn't want him here,,,

...What are you talking about?
God said the wages of sin is death.
Jesus was sent to Earth to take punishment for the Sinners of Earth. Jesus did not sin. He didn't "call on angels" because it was God's Will for him to be crucified.
Peace be with you.

Jesus did not kill Himself. He was executed. Yes it is true that he could have called angels to defend Him, but He allowed Himself to die in our place. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death (i.e. our sins). God does not want us to spend eternity in Hell so He sent His Son (Jesus) to die in our place. Jesus rose again three days later (ie defeating sin and death).

This kind of question is what results from people who can't seperate fact from fiction.
Really. All this from watching a movie? I mean, is it any wonder why so many people have such whacked-out conceptions of God and His Infallible Word??
And here comes the thumbs down crowd. I can sense them now.
