Im starting a new job< when do they send you for a drug test?

Im already hired. But dont you usually have to go to a lab for this??

they usually test you before they hire you. otherwise most likely will test you on the first day.
or they don't test at all....
better start drinking alot of water....sweating alot....and eating goldenseal just in case. -laughs-

They usually do it after they offer you the job and before you start. The job I have currently made me go in for a full physical after I accepted and there they did the drug test.

Before they have hired you. Now it may be company policy to randomly test but if they have hired you without you taking a drug test as long as you don't do anything terrible they may not.

Not every employer drug tests. If they do, they usually do it before they hire you, but they could require it any time.

My company will do it at any time between offer tender and first day.
