I don't know who you were talking to, but I haven't talked to any Christians that believed that the Gregorian calendar was anything to judge God's timing with. I suppose that there are all kinds!
The better thing to observe is the Jewish Calendar. And since I do, I do not believe that the Rapture will occur on any other day than a Rosh Hashanna. If not this year, then on any year where Rosh Hashanna takes place.
So keep thinking that we all must be wrong. Because the time has not yet come, and you will try to explain it away when it does happen, won't you?

I never said that July 7 was the Rapture. I had never even heard of it until someone here said something about it;
I laughed at the idea. I'm not down at all. I've had a great weekend. I hope that you have as well.
Not all of us are the same, you know. All Christians don't fit into one mold.
I hope that I have done a lot of positive things during my life time and will continue to do so.
I usually spend $1000-$2000 a year of my own money on my students at school. Their parents don't buy them school supplies, so I do it. Some of them come to school wearing sleeveless shirts in winter because their mama spends the welfare money on drugs or on getting her nails done. Some of them go home to no supper, etc., so I give them money for food.
I buy clothes for them. I buy candy for them as rewards. I pay for their Field Trips, etc. because Mama won't.
I think I am using my money and time wisely, but thanks for your sincere concern.
Thank you for your kind reminder.

A lot of people confuse this "rapture" with the first resurrection mentioned in Revelations.
The first resurrection, however, is for the 144,000 who have been truest to God and His ways.
And this 144,000 will be those who rule with Christ for 1,000 after his return.
Some of these people will still be alive when Christ returns--most will have passed. All will be raised to meet Christ at his return.
THIS IS NOT THE RAPTURE--IT IS THE FIRST RESURRECTION.
These are the ones chosen to help Christ establish his government system that he is going to be bringing with him at his return.
This is the original government system that God intended for humans before Adam and Eve thought they could do a better job at governing themselves.
Since that time, humans have been trying to find the perfect government system that all could live under. Thus far, none (not even the democracies) have been successful.

What exactly are you talking about? No one knows when the Rapture is going to take place, but if I were you I wouldn't joke about it, instead I'd be making sure I would be apart of it and not looking at it as a game.

who told you that the rapture was coming?
i've been a christian all my life and I didn't hear anything about it...
anyway, you should be more respectful of other people's religions. I don't know if you meant it this way but it kind of seemed sarcastic and well, immature.
Oh, and check your facts, Christians feed the hungry and help out in the community just as much, if not more than the rest of the world.
come on, lets show some tolerance... and intelligence.

Postponed to 9/9/9, which if turned around is 6/6/6.
Or until 31/12/29 which if you take the square root of the first, multiply it with the square root of the second, and the divide it by the third also gets 6/6/6 (not really, I was just making that up as an example, but you get my point)

Not all Christians believe in the rapture but those who gloat and laugh about condemning fellow humans to the depth of hell aren't really Christian.

<>< Hmmm..seems like I missed something?! I am Christian and did not realize that the rapture was to have already taken place!!! Also, I do not believe in the rapture...you know not all Christians do. Finally, why would you be so hateful about it anyway? I am curious how much time you spend feeding the poor or helping with an enviromental cause?

What are you talking about??? Has someone predicted the rapture? If they were TRUE Christians they would know that is dangerous ... No one knows the end time, except God.
