He might have gone face first into something and hurt his nose and chin--ours have done that when they raced down the stairs too fast to make the turn at the bottom and hit the book case. Or he could have jumped down and hit his chin when his legs didn't cushion the impact enough.
If he's snorting, that would be a nose problem, but if he's gagging then it's mouth related. He MIGHT have broken the end of his jaw or hurt his teeth, you'd really need to have a vet look at it what happened just in case something broke badly. Hoping it will go away may not be an option if the jaw cracked or a tooth is half broken out. That needs vet attention.
I bet it hurts him pretty badly, especially as you said he was gagging. If he doesn't eat, you have to get him in very soon. If he starts drooling, you've got a broken tooth in his mouth and it needs medical attention fast.

This could be an inflammed tooth, which abscesses, drains and then abscesses again, or it could be something much worse. I don't know if Sahara goes outside and roams or not, but if he does and if the glands just under the mandible are both swollen, so that the whole area is swollen, this COULD be feline leukemia. Either scenario here is beyond first aid and helping the cat enough that his own immune system can throw the infection off (and it certainly sounds like an infection). You really must get him to a vet and the sooner the better.

ought to be ill with many things. she has to consume and drink to stay. i'd call a vet and notice in the event that they take funds if $$ is a situation right here. may additionally practice for care credit with low month-to-month funds. attempt to feed her a bland weight loss software after letting her abdomen relax. perhaps attempt some boiled rooster with rice. (cooked white rice). did you place flea stuff on her at present or something different? Did she get into something? whilst they bypass to different locations in homestead they're attempting to get removed from some thing it incredibly is bothering them inclusive of soreness or disease. extra beneficial secure than sorry get to vet one way or yet another. stable success.

He needs to see a vet - this recurring problem may be something wrong with his mouth, there may be a glandular problem, but it'll always come back unless you halt it - and getting kitty to the vet is a good idea for that ;)

Take him to a vet. If it ever happens again you should take him to a vet and take pictures in case you dont get im there before it goes away so your vet can see exactly what happened.

My cat caught a mouth infection and he has been on medicine. We brought him to the vet becuase he was saliving a lot and playing with his mouth. He has been on antibiotics, but he needs a surgery to remove the infected teeth
Good luck

he may have a parasite in his intestine, which can cause his food to come back out.
and he probably has a rash, flea, or dead skin from an injury on his chin. you should get this checked by a vet because it could be VERY SERIOUS, and may kill your cat.
