I was just treated for a kidney infection and my tests showed protein in the urine as well as white blood cells. He put me on Cipro for 10 days and I am feeling better and my infection has cleared up. I will be praying this is something as treatable for your child.

Your daughter has some sort of infection and perhaps even some diabetes or problems with kidneys. There could be several diagnosis for the symptoms you presented. It would be better to call the Dr tomorrow. Your in my prayers

I'm no Doctor but having a high white blood cell count (WBCC) isn't a good thing, that usually means that her body is fighting something, like an infection or ever worse, a h WBCC is one of thing doctors look for if some one might have cancer.

im not sure cuz im not a doctor but i think that if u have protein in ur urine, u most likely have a kidney disease n maybe the white blood cells are just to help fight off the disease?

The person to give you a diagnosis for your daughter is her doctor. Talk to them and ask for answers to these test results.

why the hell wouldn't your doctor clarify these test results with you? That's total crap. Get another doctor and ask his opinion on the test results after your old doctor faxes them to your new doctor. Your old one doesn't give a damn about his patients obviously.

WHEN OUR SON HAD THAT A FEW YEARS AGO, THEY CALLED IT NEPHARITIS (THIS COULD BE MISPELLED BUT CLOSE TO THIS). HE HAD TO BE ON ANTIBIOTICS AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT THEY HAD HIM DRINK A CUP OF BEER A DAY. GOOD LUCK, YOUR DOCTOR SHOULD BE GIVING YOU INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO HELP HER.

Why didn't you ask the Dr?
Or is that too obvious? Not meant glibly
