Black tie weddings usually take place later in the day. But since this one is earlier, I assume the same rules apply.
Men: black tuxedo
Women: Long dress, dressy shoes and jewelry. Avoid white, red and black or anything that would look like a prom dress. Keep it conservative.

I think a nice dress with strappy sandals. I stay away from white or black dresses at weddings myself. I went to 2 weddings in CA in the past year, and it seems anything goes, but I would over dress than under dress. I didn't wear slacks to either one. I wore a red halter at one, and I think I was fine, even the bride told me I looked good.

guys: tux. chicks: more complicaited. never wear white unless your the bride.maybe a nice lite shaded dress that goes alittle below the knee, with short wavy sleeve, and matching open toed shoes.
