Mine's scotch whiskey. Not sure why, I guess because my father always drank it.

Thanks! Ten points to whoever decides to be creative and describe the taste of your favorite as well. ;)

My favorite drink is my own concoction, here is it, give it a try and let me know if you like it. Oh, I don't measure either, just dump and pour! I'll give you the largest ingredient amounts first and work my way down to the lesser ingredient amounts.

Ice
Vodka (citris, raspberry or cranberry. Plain works too)
Orange Juice (high pulp kind)
Cosmopolitan drink mix
Whiskey Sour mix or Margarita mix
Marashino Cherry Juice - just a little, like a tablespoon full
3-6 cherries or more, depending on how hungry you get when you drink alcohol (I eat them instead of a bag of Doretoes LOL)

As a guide, the Vodka needs to be a good brand, like Smirnofs, and it will take up about 1/3 of the drink over the ice.

Enjoy, if you try it. YUMMY!!

I have several I like and enjoy when i am out, but my real favourite is a cocktail called FBI or Frozen Black Irish.
It's a ice cream based drink but being a lover of ice cream any way hence why this really works for me.
Anyways, you take a couple of fair sized scoops of vanilla ice cream, and a couple of hand fulls of crushed ice. Add some milk and the following...
Vodka.
Baileys.
and if you like it Kahlua. (sp?)
Then mix them all together so you have a alcoholic milkshake basically. Mix it to the thickness you like and if you wish you can also add a "mudslide" (take some chocolate sauce and "pour" it so it makes a swirling pattern on the inside of the glass) to the inside of the glass. Decorate as you see fit and enjoy while you chill out in your favourite surroundings with your favourite people. Taste's like an alcoholic milkshake and if you have got it just right you will taste the ice cream and the baileys but not the vodka!
This also goes well with southern fried chips/fries and Jack Daniels sauce for dipping!
