What are the requirements to get Night Vision on a Camcorder?

Question

I am looking to buy a Camcorder that allows me to film on complete darkness, or Night Vision. What should I be looking for to let me know whether the camcorder will do that, is it an accessory or some kind of rating on the camcorder that indicates it can film in Night Vision.

I would just like to say no thanks to Yahoo answers I have managed to find out what is required to film at night. Those smart asses of "thats the sickest question" and "are you stalking someone" obviously havnt understood the phrase "if you have nothing good to say". Your little add ons were less than helpfull and I would like to wish you luck in your search for a life.

In my experience most new camcorders come with night vision. Mine has a button right on top that is clearly labeled Night Vision. I bought mine about two years ago. You can always ask the sales person at the store you are purchasing it from, if that is included. If you are buying a used one you can also ask them if it has Night Vision. Hope this is helpful.

Your final question suggested you purely wanted Panasonic. Panasonic are in no way commonplace for his or her "night imaginative and prescient" cameras, the only enterprise i think of have it genuine are Sony, yet as my final answer its a rely of opinion. so which you would be able to desire to pick what make you pick to decide for, if the digicam does not have night imaginative and prescient you are able to no longer upload it later.
