LMAO. Very clever phrasing of the question. One star for you!! I had a similar theory that since the creationists family tree includes Cain & Abel likely sleeping with either their sisters or their mother, Eve (since there were no other women on the planet) - it might explain the negative biological repercussions you mention: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_and_intelligence
The chimpanzee and the human share about 99.5% of their evolutionary history, yet most human thinkers regard the chimp as a malformed, irrelevant oddity, while seeing themselves as stepping stones to the Almighty.
— Robert L. Trivers
Men have had the vanity to pretend that the whole creation was made for them, while in reality the whole creation does not suspect their existence.
— Camille Flammarion
I once heard the survivors of a colony of ants that had been partially obliterated by a cow's foot seriously debating the intention of the gods towards their civilization
— Don Marquis
Humanity sees its reflection in the mirrors that surround it, and thus gratified, calls this image perfect, good, merciful, omniscient, omnipresent, holy, just, and above all, love. So enchanted are these hairless apes with this, that they invent a special word for it: 'God'.

You had me until the word "genitals" then I had to go get a magnifying glass. Couldn't find anything microscopic, but it did
boost my confidence.
I think the sulking comes from the prospect that Christians consider THEMSELVES the seekers....many
probably think the bible verse means..."Seek and ye shall find JESUS!"..they've got a book and a quote and a figurehead,so
many get complacent about their need to continue to seek, thinking their spot in the afterlife is already assured.
Then they get nervous and snappy when others turn up as seekers...atheists among the most prominent, to challenge their complacency. These other seekers without the "pat" answers have done more seeking..they've done more homework. The now confronted Christian
1.hates your answers because they sound better than his, and
2.suspects he might get a better grade if he copied off your paper anyway
Conflicted?......uh....YEAH! (Sulking's just the tip of the iceberg)..
I suppose the kindest thing an evolutionist or committed atheist could do is....not pray for them.

Yes. I am completely indifferent as to the doctor's religious beliefs, so long as he can cure me. Two of the doctors at our local medical practice are Muslims. I neither know nor care whether they believe in evolution or not, I regard it as entirely irrelevent. So long as they are competent as doctors, their attitude towards evolution is a matter of complete indifference to me. And that applies to any professional with whom I might have dealings.

I've always said the people who reject evolution are the strongest evidence for it. The amusing part is, they're rapidly becoming more and more irrelevant every day.
Mouthbreathing pro wrestling and NASCAR fans simply have nothing to add to the world.

It isn't defective DNA, they are a new species emerging. Evolution is as much about loss as about gain, and the religionists are losing their brains with every successive generation. Just be patient.

It is hard to say that evolution didn't happen, especially as we are a direct product of the evolutionary process.
I suppose the problem is lack of education and exposure to religions that dislike the theory of evolution or consider it a mandate for Social Darwinism, which is obviously is not.

They don't want to believe that their ancestors are less intelligent primates. They don't really want to know the truth... they want to believe what will glorify them - "God made us in His image" - sounds pretty nice eh?
Just hope to God they won't end up as our doctors. I don't want someone treating me to antibiotics that the harmful bacteria have already EVOLVED resistance to.

Holy **** did Rev. really provide a link to the creation museum, treating it as science? ahahahahaha I cannot believe the ignorance some people have.
----
Please don't use the term "devolved." Evolution is not linear.

Religious delusion makes it impossible for theists to accept scientific fact, or reality, if it is in direct conflict with their beliefs.
If they accept evolution, the whole 'house of cards' comes crashing down.

I traveled all around and saw that only stupid people were breeding.
This is what happens when evolution is determined by the whims of the libidos of bimbos.
