As much as I loathe modern day American politics, I know for certain Jesus would NOT be Republican....but what do you think, and why? Who knows maybe you might convince me otherwise if you have a good enough reason! lol

All you right wing asses are pathetic, do you really think Jesus would be anti-gay?!?! That doesn't sound like someone who spreads love and kindness and acceptance.....you should be ashamed of your dogmatism and your self righteousness

He would be his own political party. He is KING of the upcoming Kingdom. Why would he support other political parties? Why should Christians?

If Jesus were walking the Earth, he would not be involved in politics. He did not involve himself in the politics of his day and he would do no differently today. His Kingdom is not an Earthly Kingdom.

(John 18:33-36) 33 So Pilate entered into the governor’s palace again and called Jesus and said to him: “Are you the king of the Jews?” 34 Jesus answered: “Is it of your own originality that you say this, or did others tell you about me?” 35 Pilate answered: “I am not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests delivered you up to me. What did you do?” 36 Jesus answered: “My kingdom is no part of this world. If my kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be delivered up to the Jews. But, as it is, my kingdom is not from this source.”

If? Jesus is alive today.

Prophetically speaking http://www.kimclement.com , Jesus had told us that the next US President is going to be Christian. But Jesus said also for the next years. Not specific about what party the next President would come from. Whether Republican or Democratic.

The reason why President Bush is President today is because of the Lord. So he is the Lords will for US President today.

Also, Jesus is King of kings & Lord of lords. He is a Theocracy.

Friend, Jesus is alive today, let's clear that up first - he is risen. As far as political parties, what political party did he belong to during his years on earth - none. There are errors in both parties and if you put your faith in them, rather than Christ, then you will be sorry. We need to pray for all of our political leaders, no matter what party affiliation they have. We only have one country and sooner or later the divisions have got to stop.

Probably none, because he's not about politics. The leaders and such would probably seek to destroy HIm, like they are doing now by making sure kids can't pray in school, people can't have the Ten Commandments on the courthouse lawns, etc. So much for the freethinkers letting people believe what they want, huh?

If Jesus were alive today in the physical sense then I think we would not have political powers of any type. I think we would all work together for the greater good instead of putting our future in mere mortal hands.

All political parites have set-backs in some ways. He would NOT be a democrat because they believe gay marriage is OK and that abortion is okay. Rebulicans also have some set backs. Although, conservative republicans would be the best guess to what political party would belong to. Not regular Republicans, but he would be a conservative republican, but considering that political parties are man-made he might not be part of one of these parties, because he would not follow orders from someone other than God, his and our Father.

None because he remained politically neutral and didn't get involved with politics and human governments while on earth. He put his faith in a greater government; one that he knew would truely solve mankind's problems, and it surely isn't any government that you see on earth today.

Jesus remained politically neutral and so does his followers.

He wouldn't be any, when He returns to this earth He will establish His own Kingdom without any need for our secular politics; the world will operate on Kingdom of Heaven values.
