We are people who have evolved through many thousands, even millions of years. We're members of a group called the "human race." Our minor physical differences are due to the climates our ancestors lived in. Our cultures are also different, because there was little communication over great distances until recently. We are mortal, destined to die after a period of years. I hope each of us will leave something good behind us so that we'll have made a difference for good during our lifetimes.

This question can be answered by studying the past, through history and prehistory (fossils and such). You are the result of your parents, having half of your mom's DNA and half of your dad's, which instructed your cells on how to grow, reproduce, etc.

Study up on some anthropology and you find your answer on who we are/how we got here. It can not be answered in a single Yahoo answer.

By asking this in the religion category, be prepared to see some whacked up answers. It's quite selfish and ignorant to believe that God made us and this world for us, but it does make one feel good. I hope you will make the right decision and try to find the truth rather than what you want to believe.

i would say that we are all children of God but you have to born of him to be that and that only comes through acceptance of who his son is and what he came to do. If that is not done i would have to say logically that you are who you think you are in your mind from what you believe or what someone has told you. acknowledgement of question starts from the individual and what they believe for example if someone say your white but you believe you black. then you are who you believe yourself to be. So you question is good as an question posed to an individual but such an open question to the masses is chaotic. there are many people who are one way, but believe there another . there are people who dont know there question because they are not attach to there history, but we also must realize our past should not determine our present. there are many who are told who they are but have been told a lie. like the woman who is being told to prostitute as if she is not better than that.

Love you with the love of christ peace.

It depends what you mean by "we". We are all human beings created by God, that several seem to disbelieve because the devil has brainwashed them. Those who are true Christians (including me)....we are children of God and servants towards him.
