We are "capitivated" with Him because He is God Incarnate, surely you would be capitivated by God in the flesh (John 1:14)?

Try using "Check Spelling" above the right corner of the box.
1. Why would Jesus be the one and only one to not sin??
>>Because He is the flesh and blood incaration of God which makes Him God.
2. Why is Jesus considered lord, or god?? >>Check answer to question 1.
3. Not so sure what captivates all these christens and such with Jesus.
>> What captivates everyone(including Christians) is that He gave up His life so that we could live. If we follow His example in living, we will spend eternity with Him. I think that is awesome!
4. why is he so special??
>>He just IS. He gave His life for you and me, and He is still trying to get everyone into His Kingdom. Can't help but love a God like that.

Let me start of by saying that I am a christian. But, I also know where your coming from. How can we believe so much in Jesus, to call him our Lord, and be so captivated?
For the same exact reasons that almost all other religions exist.
People seem to need religion in their lives. It doesn't matter if your Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, or some religion all your own. In the end, it's really all the same basis. You choose to believe in whatever it is you want to believe in. You take a leap of faith and you run with it. The whole point of religion is to find peace, to find a purpose, to believe that you are not alone in the world.
Jesus, is just the faith I choose to follow. It's what I believe in. I consider him my lord not because he was considered sinless, but because he died for our sins. He sacrificed his life for the rest of us. That's what capitivates me.
Am i saying that I am right and the rest of the world is wrong? No. I'd be crazy to say that. Look at the rest of the world's religion. Its all bout captivation.

1) Jesus is God because His Father, gave Him the power authority and guidance over this earth. Jesus is the 2nd person in the Godhead, the Father being the 1st, and the Holy Ghost being the 3rd
2) Jesus allowed Himself to be born into this world...and His mission was to bring about the atonement.
3) What captivates all of us was the love that Jesus and Heavenly Father have for us. It took a tremendous amount of love and compassion and mercy for Jesus to drink from that bitter cup.

The fact that he didn't sin captivates Christians. This is simply b/c Christians believe in morality. Atheists do not, b/c there is nothing to hold them to it and to keep them "moral",per se. Consequently, Christians are facinated with the thought of someone who did not sin...AT ALL. Plus, Jesus is God, God is Jesus, confusingly but truthfully, and God is the source of happiness for some people...so of course they love Jesus.
Hope that made sense. lol.

He isn't the only one.
In Hebrews 11:5 it says Enoch was taken up to God (did not taste death) because he walked blameless before God.
Christians choose to call Jesus God because they follow Paul's teaching. Not because of what Jesus taught.

Actually Virgin Mary was also born without sin and continued that way until his death. Lets see being crusificted for trying to save all the humanity, be spitted for trying to forgive all the world, asking people not to be sorrow for his death but be happy for it because is their salvations, resurrecting from death, creating a hole new view of the world, eliminating the Talion point of view (eye for an eye) and finally forgiving the one that caused him that overhuman suffering aren't enough reasons to be considered ther LORD!!!!!!!!

He's special because He is God-in-the-Flesh. In all other world religions, it's all about mankind trying to get to (or become) God. Christianity is the only religion in which God comes to mankind. Being God, Jesus didn't sin, and not only that, He laid down His life and paid the price for OUR sin. That doesn't happen in any other world religion, either -- God paying the price. In all other world religions, people have to pay their own retribution for sin.
Doesn't that difference intrigue you at least a little?

Yes. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST is so special as HE is the 1stborn among creations as THE SON OF THE FATHER GOD. Additionally, it is because THE LORD GOD-THE LORD JESUS CHRIST in human image created the earth which you inhabit, the air which you breathe, the trees that you enjoy, the sunshine that gives you light, the sun that provides light to the whole earth, etc. Without GOD, all of these that you are enjoying including yourself and your life will not exist. Thus, to broaden your faith in GOD, pls read on,
THE FATHER GOD is THE FATHER OF THE LORD GOD as LORD means Prince or a royal son. THE FATHER GOD is called by the Prophet Daniel (7:9-10) as THE ANCIENT OF DAYS. In that coronation event in celestial heaven before our time began, THE SON OF MAN OR THE LORD JESUS CHRIST in human image was made LORD and GOD over our world or universe and unto its unending world called OMEGA. As THE LORD GOD in human image is the LORD JESUS CHRIST was made GOD and LORD over our universe by THE FATHER GOD, one of HIS titles is EVERLASTING FATHER, MIGHTY GOD, KING OF KINGS, WONDERFUL COUNSELOR (Isaiah 9;6). Thus, THE LORD GOD is the EVERLASTING FATHER of men in contrast to THE FATHER OF THE LORD GOD (likened to our grandfather relationship) as FATHER GOD. But all authorities were given to THE LORD GOD by THE FATHER GOD so no one can go to THE FATHER except through THE LORD JESUS CHRIST as HE is the LORD and GOD of all men. On one hand, Mohammad is a prophet among the Muslim peoples and the spirits of the dead people are resting today in the bosom of Abraham in the KIngdom of heaven in the future earth. To broaden our topic please read on - The Prophets of old or even today can see spiritual vision. It is because in human sense, they have a third eye so to speak. This 3rd eye is actually their sense of wonder. And they see wonderful creations all around them like the light, the planets, the sun and the universe. And the micro world say men living in the billionth- billionth- billionth of a second, yet we do not perceive this time occurring:before our very eyes or a billion, billlion of years which we dont have the opportunity of experience and perceive them as well. And these are only examples of the servants of GOD seeing them with their third eye or their sense of wonder. Thus, at this point in man's history, we have a book of wonder called the Bible and the christianity that it espouses. Additionally, Christianity is a belief of life beyond the grave; a life even unto eternity or eternal life. And THE LORD JESUS CHRIST is the WORD OF GOD about these divine plan for mankind. The LORD JESUS CHRIST is the MESSIAH who have redeemed mankind from eternal death or damnation. HE is mankind's savior. For witnesses other than Christians, the Prophet Mohammad in a vision was brought by Archangel Gabriel to heaven and saw THE LORD JESUS CHRIST standing in the right hand of GOD; while Mohammad remained with the audience in a heavenly assembly among the Prophets. St John the baptist was also a witness of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST when he declared HIM as THE LAMB OF GOD who takes away the sins of mankind. And another witness is the Prophet Isaiah 9:6 that states that the one who will be born of a virgin woman will be called MIGHTY GOD, WONDERFUL, COUNSELOR (HOLY SPIRIT), EVERLASTING FATHER and PRINCE OF PEACE. These are one of the many reasons that one should believe the Bible and Christianity as well. THANKS GOD; FEAR GOD; PRAISE GOD; GLORIFY GOD; HONOR GOD; LOVE GOD AND WORSHIP GOD. More superstition. Jesus seems like a decent guy and very enlightened but the points of his teaching were traded for worship of the man and thus Constantine almost singlehandedly perverted the teachings and story of Christ.
