i have a great dane and his name is blackie but when we call him by some other name he gets all wild like he knows the name and he starts jumping and stuff can anyone help me find out why he mite be doing this

I'd start taking him to obedience classes. He needs work to cure the bad behavior.

if u really do have this dog. she is a wild animal. yea she is part lab but that doenst matter, her coyote side is what showing. how did u get her anyways.it seems that u cannot control her which means u shouldnt keep her. so i would think the best thing is to find a local wildlife center and take her there so she can have a long happy life where she can wander freely as she chosses and might be able to interact with out coyotes w/out having to be locked up in a house or yard all day. think what is not only good for u but what is best for her. dont take her to a shelter b/c they will most likely put her down.

Im not sure but he may be jealous your talking about another pet or be afraid that one is around? Try calling or going to a vet or pet phsyciatrist sp?

he may think you are calling another dog and he wants you for himself......and i was just wondering.......have you ever taken him up to happy tails on linbergh?
