No. It's fine to indulge every once in awhile, but stick to one bag of chips at a time (I assume you mean the snack size). Good luck.
P.S.- If you deny yourself the things you crave completely, you're going to be miserable and will likely end up having a weak moment and bingeing. It's better to have a handful of Lay's than a half a pound of fat-free chips.

Chips are LOADED with calories, so if you are eating 1-2 bags of chips daily, probably.
Since I am not sure what kind of chips you are eating, I will say that the average bag of chips is 250-400 calories (except things like baked lays which have 120 calories per serving). SO that would be 500-800 calories per day. You would have to run for 45 minutes to an hour at 7 mph to burn that off! (That would be a 8 1/2 minute mile).

I myself can not handle potato chips. It is a downer for me.
If they are really the small 50 Cent bags or even smaller it can be OK every so often, but if you have a big family size bag, then no way.
I usually eat lays or pringles until they are gone. I do not even buy much junk food anymore. I told in other questions I was almost 500lbs once, now I am about 270lb. I still have a ways to go but by Gods grace.
The basics is making wise choices, healthier choices and everything in moderation.

Yes and no. See it would put a dent in it but here's the thing if your going to break your diet why not just do it with something good not some chips. You get what I'm saying. Why not go do a SUBWAY sandwhich....they are great and you can I guess get the chips with it but to cancel out the chips later or makeup for you getting them I would suggest doing metamucil fiber and lots of water. Its like what they say about diets and restaurants....when your at a restaurant forget about the diet there's no point in stressing enjoy the food or don't go at all. It's not going to gain you a lb or 2 if thats what you mean. Eat the chips then later eat something with fiber to wipe it out lol get it.

Get rid of the chips and just start over or continue with you diet. Chip sure won't help. I got a real good diet you Can go on eat all you want for one week and loose 10-14 lbs. Good for midnight snack's too. only for 7 days. Cleans your system nicely. Very healthy
I wanted to add this... If you like pineapple eat 1/2 a fresh pineapple a day and this will help you loose water weight if you have that problem. especially around that time of month. A Friend of mine lost 14 lb in i think 7 days.
So you might want to try this too on the 7 day veggie soup diet. I start mine tomorrow. I have done this before so I know it works. In fact I am going to be doing it 1 time month from now on. Just for the health of it. :D

It really depends on your diet and if you eating them back to back. You can stay on your diet and eat a small bag of chips or small amount of candy as long as you regulate the how often you have them. I would allow yourself one treat or reward once a week if you stayed faithful to your diet all week. Moderation is the key. It is hard to stay away from things that you love so if you use it as a reward then you may find that you will work harder on the diet to get the reward.

Don't stress! Everyone deserves a binge day even if your on a diet! Just make sure for the next week or so you do more exercise, and ONLY eat healthy food such as high protein and fibre foods. If you do ever do get the need to binge grab your trainers and go for a jog, that way your away from the kitchen and losing weight!! :) Hope this helps x

Yes, they can.
You can't eat just one ... or two.
Not kidding.
I can't tell you how many people I work with who are on diets, but never lose weight. Why? Because that one bag of chips is "okay on weight watchers because it's only worth (x) points."
So there they are snacking with the chips mid-morning daily.
Put it this way. You don't need the chips. Make it a point not to have them. You'll be surprised that you will actually start LOSING WEIGHT by NOT eating that "one" bag of chips!

Not technically...just count the number of calories in them into your daily intake. IMHO, chips aren't the best thing to eat while on a diet though. They are basically air, fat, and calories and have no nutrients. I would probably eat 150 calories' worth of something nutritious instead...an apple and a little cottage cheese or something. You'll feel fuller and you probably won't want the chips anymore.
