I have a migraine and so I am nausiated........ I go to get some asprin and i open the bottle and geta nasty wiff of stuff........why does asprin smell so much more than all the rest of pills?

By today's standards, aspirin is a very old-fashioned drug (though it still works!) It uses acetic acid, the acid that is in vinegar, so sometimes it smells vinegary, especially if it's old (that means it's breaking down, losing its potency).

Buy some "enteric coated" aspirin. It disolves in your intestines instead of your stomach and doesn't cause upset stomach or bleeding and you won't get any odor from the bottle.

especially, previous-formed drugs in basic terms stops being effective, so i does no longer problem too lots until you start up up experiencing some form of indications. And in accordance to the article below, drugs could be effective 15 years previous the expiration date.

probably because the aspirin is too old....as it breaks down there is a marked odor. Get a new bottle.

i've never took time in smelling aspirin--but i've never noticed any bad smell when i take them....maybe your pills are expired or something.
