NO! stretch marks DO NOT tan.
That will make it worse!
You will be tan and have white marks!
Don't do it!!!
Stretch marks are normal, everyone has them. If it really bothers you try putting a little concealer on. They make gels to eliminate the marks, they don't work too good though.
oh! and congrats on the baby!

Tanning is only going to make the skin around the stretch marks tan which in turn makes the stretch marks more visible or prevalent. Stretch marks are a sort of scarring of the skin when it is stretched quickly, usually by pregnancy or weight gain.
Once pregnancy is over the stretch marks will go from a light pinkish color to a silver almost opaque white color. Unfortunately they will never go away. Many people use creams on them to try to get them to disappear but those are only a great big hoax.
It sounds redundant to say but just think of them as a badge of motherhood. :)

No unfortunately tanning will only make them more visible. Since your still pregnant try one of those stretch mark creams on the market now, and that will help I think.
I have many stretch marks from my first pregnancy and honestly I can get color from the sun but the stretch marks are just white.

You shouldn't tan while pregnant...
Everyone is different, but the majority of people I know who have stretch marks, they look more noticable after they tan. There is really nothing you can do about them, other than covering them with make up and bronzers.
Eventually, they will turn pink and sort of blend in with your skin.

Some people have considered this method a savior to their strech mark problem. My mother always said to lose as much weight you wanted to try and lose before tanning.
However tanning isn't good for your body. and I'm pretty sure bepending on your skin tone you will get different results. I'm super fair skined and afraid my marks would STAND out if I ever tanned.
Have you ever heard of spray tan? This is a way to certainly cover them up though without the harmful rays!
good luck.
Also while the marks are "fresh" it is easier to smooth them out and help with the appearance by using creams for them, the older they are the harder they'll be to reduce the appearance of.

If they're on your rear end, who is going to see them? Well, other than your husband. I'm also six months pregnant and have some stretch marks on my tummy. I don't care. Nobody but my husband sees my stomach anyway. The end result--the full blessing of our baby--is worth it for some "imperfections".
If you do want to tan, I suggest that you use the bronzing lotion stuff as it's much healthier than tanning beds or the sun.

No it will make them more noticable...Trust me! I've never been pregnant and I am skinny as ever but for some reason I have them on my legs and bum and it makes them look worse when I tan
