Nope. Dog food is for dogs, cat food is for cats.
Feed your kitty cat food. If you are not sure what to get, find a decent pet store and ask them to advise you.

Puppy food is not really designed to be fed to a kitten of any age. At the age of one month the kitten is really too young for anything other than mothers milk. Go to a pet store or a pet department or a vets and get an eye dropper or a bottle and a formula for kittens and hand feel her the formula. Can she be taken back to momma. She is really too young to be taken from momma. If there is no way to get the kitten back to momma, you have a job ahead of you. You will need to feed the kitten every 4 hours and use a warm damp cloth to rub over her belly and bottom to stimulate for elimination. You now are having to become this kittens mother and take over feedings, process for elimination of bowels and bladder, training the kitten when older to eat kitten food either dry or wet, and training it to use the litter box. This is the best way to develop an extreme bond with the kitten. She will now think of you as momma and when older she will have more rights to own you. Hope that you are up for this. It is a major responsibility. If you can do this you will have such a special relationship that will bring you great happiness and many rewards. Good luck in your endeavor. God bless you for being there for this kitten.

Only for the present and very immediate future. That is, no more than a day or two until you can go buy some appropriate food. Kittens have different and greater nutritional needs than do puppies so the commercial foods are formulated and supplemented differently. Kittens will not thrive at all on puppy food.

NO, even if she / he likes it. Give it KITTEN food. Can find it in the cat food section of stores like Petsmart. There are pleanty of good brands, if you think you will need a special kind ask your vet.
A kitten that young should still be getting milk too. Look for canned kitten milk at same store if not with mommy cat. after all dogs and cats have different needs, you wouldn't feed a year old baby a sirloin steak now would you.

It does not have the right kind of nutrients for the kitten. I have a list of food that cats should not eat and dog food is on the list. If you give puppy food to the kitten you can cause the kitten to have a problem with the heart in the kitten when the kitten is older.
Go to peteducation .com. I hope this will help.

You should never feed dog food to a cat, regardless of the age!
Cats and dogs have specific and very different nutritional needs. So for the best health in your young and growing kitten, feed her kitten food only, NOT puppy food.

Cat food should not be fed to dogs because they will get sick and it's not healthy for the dog.
The same goes with cat's eating dog food and humans living on pet food. We are all designed different so you need to feed them different.
If the kitten is one month it needs mothers milk. If the mom cat isn't around you need to go to the pet store and get "mother's milk for kittens" and a pet feeder.
To help their immune system and their health!
I had a orphan kitten and that is what they recommended and it worked.
Please see my link below and best wishes!

No. Absolutely not. Cat food and dog food are set up differently for each nutricional requirement. If you give your kitten puppy food, it will grow up lacking these necessary nutrients that come from kitten food and could have severe medical problems in the future.

Dog food will not provide the kitten with some essential nutrients that cats need but dogs dont. A little won't hurt, but a diet of only dog food can lead to serious medical problems. Dr W

Definately not, kittens and puppies have two completely different sets nutrional needs. You need to go to a pet store and find the suppliments that they have for less than 6 week old kittens. If you have problems finding one, ask someone there or call a Vet's office, they will be able to tell you what you need to do.
