Generally currencies don't expire. BUT consider the few exceptions. Many European countries have switched to the Euro, and their old currencies may expire.

Yes, Mexico in 1993 issued the New Peso = 1000 old peso's. If you found a stash of old peso's they probably have expired now that it is 15 years later.

Of course they don't expire, they are a legitimate currency just like the US $ is.

As currencies around the world decrease and increase they do gain and loose value like every other currency does but none of them expire.

the simple is no, only if they are taking the currency out of circulation and even then you will still be able to change any money you might have at a bank.
