actions or lack thereof is not the source of happiness or unhappiness...As for behaviors and their results, most people behave in consistent patterns, they do what they are comfortable doing, often with total disregard to the potential outcome simply because that is known behavior and all are more comfortable with known behaviors"

actually actions are the behaviors, the rest is thoughts and emotions that turn into actions or behaviors, a persons thoughts and emotions may be normal for what they are going through, and in fact only when they recognize their real and honest feelings can they chose to decide what actions or behaviors they will display or not, and like you did say most people are taught to be and feel the same way all the time and do not adjust to what is actually happening around them and that is what causes the problems some times, but no one gets to chose that for them or they should not be able to unless what they are about to do is actually wrong or harmful.

"Ask my wife"

Perhaps you owe it to your wife to ask her about certain things your self and not expect other people to do that for you? Is it okay with her or not? And how do you feel about that? Those are personal decissions, not for anyone here to make for you.

"It comes down to what we allow in our secret life; it comes out from our inner being and affects those that are around us. That's why we need to guard off what thoughts we are entertaining, because it usually turns into action."

Fact is if it is secret thoughts then pretty much of it should be kept secret, but some of it may come out, and if it is things that need to be talked about some times it is actually more beneficial to talk about that and some times people do allow things to come out, but never all of the things that one might find in other ways or by being dishonest in their own actions with them so in fact I think that everyone is entitled to privacy and ethicalness and morality is not just a judgement to place on another but must first be choosen by self. It comes from inside we need judge our own self first before we ever try to judge or hurt another I think? Because as hard as it is to know self it is always much easier to mispercieve another and be wrong about it.

"but there are times i just sit and cry for two or three days and not know why."

With the way the world is and the people in it are often it is not as nice and easy as it might should be and it might be a better place for all of us if we decided to change things? If you can just ignore the hard things and the tuff things and the wrong things in this world then I feel sorry for you, those are enough to cry about for a year if you really stop to think about it. When is it going to change and stop being all about greed and not real needs? Meeting people's real needs in many ways would make our whole society a much better place for all of us to be I think?

actions or lack thereof is not the source of happiness or unhappiness. True happiness comes from inside yourself and is a choice.
As for behaviors and their results, most people behave in consistent patterns, they do what they are comfortable doing, often with total disregard to the potential outcome simply because that is known behavior and all are more comfortable with known behaviors rather than trying to change who they are...that involves work.

Yes I love to be happy, but there are times i just sit and cry for two or three days and not know why. I dont mean to make other people feel unhappy just cause i am. My boy friend tells me to smile all the time but thers days aperson just dont have in them to smile. Smile about what, what in the world is there to smile about? Then i get to thinking hes right, theres alot to be happy about Im alive and in good health, I have friends and what family i have left so good question. And i dont think alot of people gives much thought to it or they just like to close there eyes to the problem around them.
