I live in Canada, but not in a province. The Yukon Territory is older than Alberta or Saskatchewan, (created in 1898 by the Yukon Act) but has never achieved provincial status, even though we are larger than any country in Europe. (Maybe it's because our population is only about 1% of Toronto's!)
